A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM CHRIS CAGLE
October 3rd, 2005
To All My Loyal Music Fans:

"As many of you are aware, I had been anxiously awaiting the addition of a new baby to my life. The baby has been born and both mother and child are in good health. Since the birth, however, we have discovered that biologically, the child is not mine.

As excited as I was about becoming a new father, my disappointment is equally as strong. So out of respect for all that are involved, please allow this situation to remain private and know that I will not be commenting further on this very personal matter. I'm thanking you in advance for your kind cooperation and understanding."

Why would he come out and make a statement about that?

He said "So out of respect for all that are involved, please allow this situation to remain private..."

Remain private? You just told the world! LOL

Who's Chris Cagle? He's obviously the dumbest guy in the world to release a statement like that if he wants it to be private. Although I feel bad for him. Maybe it's his retribution to rub it in babymama's face????

I don't even know anything about the guy, which is why I clicked on the thread. But I'm guessing he's probably damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. If he makes the statement, people say things like this. If he doesn't make the statement, and leaves the mother & doesn't have anything to do with the baby, his public image is much worse. What an awful situation.

That's what I think, too. He couldn't NOT make a statement. People who are die hard fans of his would be asking questions.

To me the statement sounds like the public already knows it's not his baby and he wants people to not pry into it to find out whose baby it is or the circumstances behind it. People probably keep asking him about it and he doesn't want to talk about it. I hadn't heard about it until I came here, but a couple more weeks of gossip and questioning could make it a muchmore well-known story.
