Definitely Amazon.com - formula and diapers often appear in my gold box. However, I find Costco to be the cheapest.

same here. after two kids, their formula and diapers, i just gave up on all the stupid coupons and chasing sales.

I bought an absolute ton of formula from amazon. They had a nice price on the canisters and then shipping was free if you bought enough of them. Since I don't live in a metro area where I can comparison shop at price clubs and Targets, etc., this was the best deal for me (kept me from having to drive an hour to buy formula).

As for diapers, I follow the sales. My local supermarket prints checkout coupons on diapers ($3 off!) and then I throw in a couple regular coupons, and it's like they were practically paying me to take them. But I also buy cases of diapers from amazon, when they run rebate deals. Again, with free shipping, it's cost-effective.

My friend just told me about 1800diapers.com (www.1800diapers.com). I was specifically interested in the Huggies Overnight, which looks like a pretty good deal to me since it's been impossible to find them in stores. I haven't ordered yet, but probably will soon.

I just comparison shopped, so here's some info for you:

www.Amazon.com
Pampers Cruisers Size 3 Box of 148 was $32.49 (no shipping due to Super Saver program) = $0.21 per diaper

Pampers sensitive Wipes Box of 432 was $14.99 (no shipping)

www.1800diapers.com
Pampers Cruisers Size 3 Box of 148 was $36.96 (no shipping) = $0.25 per diaper

Pampers sensitive Wipes Box of 432 was $17.99 (no shipping)

Just an FYI, I normally buy my 36 packs of these diapers for about $10.50 at target and grocery stores, which is $0.29 per diaper. By buying them in the big box off Amazon I essentially saved about $3.00 per 36 diapers!

Both sites also have formula that seemed cheaper then it is at target from what I recall...

:bump:
We're switching from cloth and want to find a good bargain, specifically on Huggies size 4. The cheapest I've found is 1800diapers $34.99 for 150 diapers and free shipping. ($.23/each)
So far I've used coupons and have bought on sale, but just wondered if you all have a secret for buying diapers for less!

TIA!

We used Pampers when DS was a teeny baby, but we have since switched to Target brand formula and diapers. Wish I'd done it a long time ago...

Regular name brand formula: $25 or so
Target: $11.99

Jumbo pack of name brand diapers: $15-$19
Target: $9-$12

I do amazon when they run rebates. I buy a bunch of boxes and then use the rebate a few months later for another box of diapers, so you essentially get a free box that way. In between when I run out, I use coupons at Target or Walmart.

1800Diapers was way more expensive than just buying formula and diapers at BRU. At BRU my diapers (Pampers Swaddlers size 2) were .19/diaper and 1800Diapers was something like .21/diaper. At BRU my formula is $4.99/bottle (Isomil RTF) and at 1800Diapers it was $6+/bottle! No wonder they have free shipping! I'll have to check out Amazon.

ETA: Yup..Amazon is way more expensive than our BRU too! Diapers on Amazon .205/diaper and formula $7.19/bottle  That is $2.20/bottle more than at BRU!

Thanks for the responses ladies. I happened to be at Target and a box of Huggies size 4 with 126 diapers in it was on sale for $25. That's $.19/each. Cheaper than any other place I found!

amazon has been great for us

I could maybe find diapers cheaper/on sale but then I would actually have to go to Target and buy it / lug it home via the stroller and up 3 flighs.. its awesome to have it delivered.. same for the formula when we used to use it!
