Which designer did you choose for your nursery and what style crib? If possible, can you please post some pictures? Trying to narrow down my options and settle on a set. Thanks! :D

If we were having a boy we were going to go with this Sheffield collection from Bonavita. It is gorgeous and will look awesome as a full size bed.

But it's a girl so we ended up getting the Cottage 4 in 1 crib by Sorelle.

We’re getting this crib…
http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0000W3ZXM.01.MZZZZZZZ.jpg
it’s less honey like/bright in person.
The 10-drawer dresser (the top will be used as the changing table) and full sized bed were passed down to me when my grandmother passed away. They’ve been restored and the hardware has been changed.
The bookcase and rocking horse were made by DH’s grandfather.
Or nursery has a lot of history. :D

We bought the 3-in-1 Natural Pine crib and dresser by Delta. They carry it at Babies R Us.. it's beautiful in person and Delta's customer service is AMAZING! They sent us a new part in less than a week to replace the catch on the drop side since it wasn't locking exactly as we would like it to.

All of your furniture is beautiful, ladies! However, I noticed this was posted in the first *sticky* on the Family Planning boards:
In an effort to make the All Things Family boards a little less cluttered and to be sensitive to our members that are still TTC, we ask that posts on cribs, nurseries, and all other things of this nature be kept in the parenting section. Thank you so much for your cooperation.

So you might want to have this thread moved to the Parenting section. ;)

I noticed that sticky too. I think this thread was started by the OP before it was posted. I actually started to post a thread on this topic (cribs) today in the Parenting section, but remembered this post. It may get more replies if it's moved over to Parenting.
ETA: I contacted a mod to request that this be moved.

We ordered the Sophia crib from Munire. It isn't on their website and we didn't get to see it in the store (we saw other Munire cribs and decided the quality would probably be comparable).

We're ordering our nursery furniture this weekend! I've only seen it in person once at a Maternity Fair, and there is a slight chance I might see something else similar that I like once I get to this store this weekend, but right now this is our choice.
It is the Ellis Collection by Simplicity. It's sold at JCPenney and I *think* Target, but we got an amazing deal through a private baby store here about 45 minutes away from our house. Cheaper than JCPenney for the same set.
4-in-1 crib, changing tower and dresser in Cherry:

ETA: here's our glider. Haven't gotten it yet but will probably get this one from BRU. (The Jardin one.) This one is JCPenney's but looks exactly the same even though it is a tad bit more pricey than the one from BRU. Anyone have either one and can vouch for it? I sat in the one at BRU and loved it instantly.

I completely forgot about coming back here and posting the set we finally decided on. We went with the Toscana line from Ragazzi:

I just got our crib this weekend! :)
If anyone is in/near Massachusetts, there is a great outlet (I found it through Baby Bargains) called Baby Boudoir Outlet Center in New Bedford, MA. I got the crib there; it had a couple of small scrapes on the paint, which saved us $100. And they gave us the paint to touch it up. Love that. :)
This is the Legacy Bergen County crib. We got it in white.

Our set is a Morigeau-Lepine, which I haven't seen too often. We've been happy with it and it was highly rated by Baby Bargains.
Here's the stock photo, we have it in the antique white. Our dresser is longer and we don't have a hutch. Insted we have a changing table riser (don't know what it's actually called!), which was the best money we spent since both DH and I are tall....no achy backs for us :)

We ordered the Delta Jenny Lind crib in white:
http://ec1.images-amazon.com/images/P/B00005AKUK.01._SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg
Unbelievably inexpensive, great reviews in Consumer Reports and Baby Bargains, and exactly the look I was wanting!
Here's a kinda crummy picture of it set up:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v220/umbetsy/crib.jpg
Bear in mind, this pic was taken at my mom's house and not in our nursery (our nursery was damaged during Hurricane Katrina). We're pairing it with an antique dresser we painted white. I can't wait to put it all together!

We bought two of these (by Legacy - highly rated by Baby Bargains):
http://store1.yimg.com/I/albee-baby_1870_52396209
Free shipping, no sales tax, on sale.....and I ordered them on a Sunday evening and they arrived (from NY to Chicago) on THURSDAY. Which reminds me....I need to post about my fantastic experiences with Albee Baby over on the Pregnancy boards.....
Although I definitely prefer "simple" lines, I actually preferred the look of other cribs over the one we bought.....but because we were buying two at once, we wanted quality-for-cheap.

We have the same crib and chest as Dasha, but in a lighter finish. We didn't get the hutch and I used the chest as the changing table until a month ago. We are very pleased with our selection -- especially the storage under the crib.
I'm so happy I didn't buy a separate changing table.

Pink Converse, I'm very happy with it. I originally wanted the Land of Nod Jenny Lind crib (the one torch76 posted) -- like her, I'm going for a traditional, vintage look. But we're on a pretty tight budget, and I just couldn't justify the extra expense when it's so similar to the Delta. Anyway, I was very pleased when our Delta Jenny Lind arrived from Babies R Us. It's a sweet, little crib, and I don't think it looks a thing like it cost only $109.

Does anyone know a good place online to buy a bookcase for the nursery? It has to be dark cherry/espresso to match the crib and dresser, I would like 3-4 shelves, and halfway decent quality. I have been looking for days! I like this on from PBK, it is it a little more $$ than I wanted to pay, espeically with shipping.

pewee9196-IMO, if buying the more expensive crib means you'll have to cut back elsewhere then I would buy the cheaper one. If it's jsut a matter of not wanting to spend the money--then only you can decide. IMO, cribs don't "do" much other than sit around and look nice. Pretty much all of them keep baby safely trapped inside. Unless your second choice is something that you don't like, you will forget about your 1st choice and be happy with #2 once it is set up.

All of our nursery furniture is from Bratt decor. I see that it only got a "B". I do think Baby Bargains is a great guide, but we are very happy with our set. Style-wise it was the only set that we found that offered the 3 pieces we wanted that was remotely in our price range. I'm just saying, don't let the "B" discourage you from buying :)
Just becuase I'm sure someone will be curious, we wanted a dresser with a changing top--not a changing table, small book case, and crib. This is ours, but all in white.

We plan to spend between $500-$700 on a convertible crib that can transition to a full bed.
After reading the Baby Bargains book, it seemed that most of cribs rated with the best "contruction" were in this price range (Baby's Dream or Munire.)
I am in LOVE with the Munire Newport collection in rubbed black (for a boy, or girl.)

wine_o_girlie , I almost died and went to heaven when you posted that pic- I have yet to see it outside of the professional pics that Munire has on the site/resellers use.
Glad to hear it is sturdy! If you wouldn't mind, I'd love to see more pics! Do you think you will get any other additional pieces of furniture from the Newport collection? How long did it take you to get your crib in ( I heard Munire is having shipping delays.)
Beautiful furniture ladies! I thought I’d share my photos b/c we have one of the brands mentioned. Our furniture is from the Baby’s Dream Infinity Collection. We purchased all three pieces from USABaby for just about $1500. So far, I’m very happy with our crib, 5 drawer hutch and double dresser. The color is Honey (I had originally wanted ebony but my parents didn’t love it and they were paying so, we went with the lightest wood possible.)

We have the Munire Charleston collection -- the crib and the tall armoire.
The grandparents bought the furniture, in total I think we spent around $1K ($500 on the crib; can't remember exactly for the armoire).
We loved the crib, it was so solid compared to everything else we looked at, and it's a convertible so will end up as a headboard/footboard eventually. I don't regret the purchase -- what I *do* regret is the bedding we got. We got a Wendy Bellissimo set and I just don't think it was worth spending the money. I would definitely go piece meal if I had it to do over. Anyhoo, here's our furniture. The pic of the armoire isn't great, but it's all I have.

EJH, I love the finish and style of your furniture. The Charleston and the Majestic styles are my close favorites to the the Newport.
I've heard the Majestic style isn't as good of quality as it is made in Mexico with less expensive veneers. Anyone else compared it to the others?

We have the Baby's Dream Generation Next -- and love it so far! I bought from a local store (Cribs 4 Life). They specialize in Baby's Dream cribs. We paid about $900 for the crib, dresser, mattress, changing pad -- oh they included the converter (to convert the crib into a bed) and delivered/set up the crib!

What I love about this changer/dresser is that it flips :)

We have that same dresser/changer, Wrighty26, and I love, love, love it. I've been praising its "flippiness" since we got it! DD is 26 months old now and we still have it on the changing side but probably pretty soon we'll switch it to the dresser side.

The white bookshelf next to the changer is Pottery Barn and the glider is Dutailer. I really love all Bratt Decor stuff, it's unique & well built.
bumping this up to see if anyone has reviews of their cribs now that they've used them for awhile....
DH and I are losing our mind looking for the "perfect" crib. We want black.... but may have to settle on espresso.
any thoughts on the Bonavita Peyton or Hudson.
Also, Cocoon?
thanks!!

We have Bonavita nursery furniture (not Peyton or Hudson though). I love it! It is all solid wood and so sturdy! The crib is, too, though DD has rarely slept in it. We've had no problems with it. This furniture will definitely last us through the next baby!

We have the Bonavita Peyton convertible crib in chestnut (although ours has a Europa Baby label). We haven't got much use out of it because we ended up cosleeping but we like it. We have the matching dresser and we're happy with that, too.
A word of advice to anyone who plans on converting their crib: buy the conversion sets when you buy the crib. That way if the store you bought it from goes out of business or the crib company goes out of business you aren't stuck hunting everything down. I knew better but put it off thinking we'd go back in just a few months but kept putting it off and now the store that we bought the crib from went out of business and we're ready to convert the crib.
