For these of you who have baby girls who use hair accessories. Where did you find them? I am having such a hard time finding some that I like. I am open to bows, plastic, flowers, ribbons, cloth, etc anything is good. DD is only 4 months old and she has SO much hair already and sometimes it sticks up so it will be nice to clip it down once in awhile! ;) Thank you in advance!
Here is DD and all her hair!

your DD is adorable!!! my DD has a lot of hair as well. i bought clips from Target but since her hair is fine, they don't stay in all that well. the hair bows that i have, i bought from my neighbor. she makes them to sell. she thought the gymboree hair clips were too expensive, decided she could make them herself and now she's selling them to anyone who will buy them. She uses alligator clips for her bows and those stay in really well...that is until DD pulls them out. the others i find fall out of her hair easily.
there are also clips that use velcro too...i've seen them at Babies R Us. I hear they sell them at Nordstrom but have never looked. If you're crafty, you can try making some yourself? Just get some alligator clips, wrap the clip itself w/ ribbon, glue gun the ribbon down. tie a bow and then glue that to the clip. just a thought. HTH!

I bought some cute clips at babystyle. I also found some at a baby boutique.
DD has some from No Slippy Hair Clippy (http://www.hairclippy.com/) - they stay in really well.

A fellow CC'er has her own hairbow business. Wobbie's website is www.sweetprincesscreations.com. If that doesn't work, let me know: I'm starting to make infant/toddler hairbows too! I can email you pictures of what I have so far and we can discuss your daughters personal bows! :D

DD was born with a TON of hair - she now has her own little hair accessories bag within the diaper bag because we need so many accessories. Crazy - especially with such a low-maintenance hair mother as me.
Anyway, one day a few weeks ago, I went to EVERY children's store in the mall and couldn't find a thing (Children's Place, BabyGap, Baby Talbot, and a few others) then went to Sears and found some good stuff. I have also found good bows at Walmart of all places. I have not been impressed with the selection at BRU at all. Oh, and the other day, I was in a Claire's Accessories and they have a specific baby line, which I was thrilled to find. Not a huge selection but I found a few things. I don't know if you have one near you....
I saw www.SweetPrincessCreations.com in the classifieds section (at least, I think that's the one) and was going to check it out to get a custom-made black and orange bow set for Halloween.

I've used www.bloomingbows.com and ebay. There are a lot of sellers on ebay who use a gripper so it won't come out of your DD's hair. Recently, though, I figured out how to make them on my own. The amount of money I was spending to keep DD's hair out of her eyes was ridiculous.

If there's an H&M near you, they have great, unfrilly hair accessories for baby girls. I'm not one for bows and poof, so they were perfect for us.

Thanks, Trishcutie - this sounds great, and there is one near me! (I checked the website.) I don't like the frilly stuff, either, but had little choice in what I saw - and since I don't want to cut DD's hair yet, I do need someTHING for it! :)

Woobie is a local friend of mine and she's all we use for hairbows! She makes them to order and made them to work for my DD's thin hair. We've been using her bows since before her website was up... we're loyal LOL

I still have to check out the websites. Been so busy here.
What is h&M? Do they have a website?
Again, many thanks.
I think I might buy couple of things from each company. :)

Just popping in to say thanks to everyone who's put in a plug for me! Thankyou!!! ;) (and thanks to Julie for giving me the heads up...I'm rarely on CC anymore)
My website isn't anywhere NEAR being finished, there's just a small sample of what I can do pictured on there. Unfortunatly I did my website myself and being that I put my bow/jewelry orders as first priority, I don't have much time to take pictures and get my site updated often. :(
Basically anything you see, I can probobly re-create. I have lots of customers who send me pictures of bows and ask if I can do that, most often I can. My teeny toddler bows have been HIGHLY sucessful as there's not much out there for small stuff. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions or would like to see pictures or if you'd like to talk about what you're looking for! I'd be more than happy to help you out!
Good luck!
Jen :)
