My little brother was our ring bearer and I think we got him Pokemon cards (I think that was the card craze in 2002 - if not, it was Dragon Ball Z, his current obsession). We also got each of the groomsmen a personalized beer mug engraved with his favorite NFL team's logo. Since my little brother would have had no interest in something like that, we got him a sports pack that had a Packers water bottle, towel and t-shirt.
What are the kids interested in? They're pretty young, so I'm guessing things like PS2 games and trading cards are out.

When they're that little I would say age-appropriate toys.
We got our eight year old ring bearer some new mini-transformers. We got three of the Deceptacons and three of the Autobots. Then he can play with them during the reception if he gets bored.
We don't have many kids coming to the wedding. My brother and his wife just had a brand new baby boy and so I got him a special pacifier and outfit to wear for photos, and for my friends' 4 year old daughter, we got her a Dora colouring book and washable crayons to keep her occupied.

Our reception (and where everyone was staying) was in a hotel with a pool, so we got all the kids (5 in the wedding) beach balls, a Disney beach towel, and some small things appropriate to the kid. For the RB, I think we got him a small lego toy, some coloring books, crayons, and some cool pens and pencils with his name on them.

We got our 5 year old ringbearer a dinosaur set. He had to dig out the bones and assemble it himself. He loved it. We also got him a log cabin set when we were on vacation. He likes to build things and be creative so he really liked our presents.
