Nose Hairs

The lovely topic of nose hairs.

I was just reading a magazine that was talking about trimming nose hairs. Now I am wondering, do you trim your nose hairs so there isn't any hair at all?

My nose has some hairs (nothing that you can see from looking, but if you looked up my nose you would see them) and now I am wondering if I should get rid of them?

I can see if someone had hairs hanging out of their noses, lol, but to have those little hairs seems important. Don't they block out bad things from going up your nose?

I don't do anything to my nosehairs. None of them stick out, but if they did I would trim! DH has two crazy hairs that grow out and he trims them with his little nosehair trimmer. He just trims, though.

yeah, none of mine stick out either + they are blonde so you can't really see them. I was just wondering if people trimmed all the hair and if that had an effect on your health (more allergies, etc).

I have a couple that stick out so I just trim them but you are right those little hairs are important!

Funny story...I have a friend who had also never heard of trimming your nose hair but after hearing about it she decided to trim them. Well she always tends to overdo things so after doing a little bit she decided to trim all the hairs. She said it hurt to breathe through her nose for over a week...oh and my waxer says that some people request to have their nose hair WAXED :eek: :eek: I asked her how she did this and she said she sticks a long qtip in wax sticks it up you nose. Waits a bit and then yanks it out. That just makes my eyes water!

:eek: that must hurt like hell. I know how much just pulling out *one* hurts (ocassionally I get a dangler and I just pluck it, not trim it).
