Boss's Day

Anyone have any ideas on what to do for Boss's Day? It's tomorrow October 6, 2005. I am going to get a card but should i give a gift certificate or something as well? Any other ideas?

I think if you're close to your boss, a little something might be nice. If you know her/his favorite restaurant you could get a GC there. Or, if you two often take lunch together - your treat.

One year my entire team took a photo and gave it to our boss and the president of the company. They both said they liked it.

I've gotten past bosses cards, anything other than that seems like sucking up (sorry but I think this "day" is silly).
