For those of you who made your own invites what program did you use? I'm trying to do it in word and I'm having a difficult time. Is there a program that's easier?

I used Word. Depending on what you're going to be making, you could also use something like Adobe Illustrator and Quark. Between the three, Word is a lot easier.

I just finished making mine not even a month ago and I used Adobe Photoshop. To me it was the easiest program b/c you can layer text and pictures on top of each other and move them freely. The best example I have online is my STD I did in Photoshop; you can visit my journal to see a pic.

I used Adobe Illustrator and was very happy with the results.
I just used Word....I put everything in text boxes. But I didn't use any images or anything, just text. If I was using images, I probably would have used something other than Word.

I used Adobe Photoshop because it has more flexibility in the placement of words and sizes. I created our invitations, maps, rsvps, accommodation cards, and reception cards all in Photoshop. I also used photoshop for the RD invites, STD's.
I addressed the envelopes in Microsoft Word. Also in Word, I created the bridesmaids newsletters and programs for the church.

I used Photoshop for my STDs and invitations, it was great for a one page thing. I ended up using Word for my programs because it ended up being multiple pages and easier to play with the formatting. Pic in journal if you need any reference.

I used Microsoft Word. Use the letters and mailings settings. You can customize the sizes, and to make cutting easier, just use borders around the cells and they'll show up.
