My printer sucks - is it possible to print out your invitations at Kinko's or something? How does one do it? I'm probably making them on Adobe Publisher or Illustrator.

I took the files on disk to a local printer, who printed them out and did the cutting/perforating. They came out wonderfully.
I think the cost was similar to doing it at Kinko's, but I feel I got better service and a more finished job.

Do you have to put it on a certain format?

Mine were just in MS Word. I would think that they could do .pdf, but at the time I didn't have the skills to get them in that format.
If you know of where you want to get them printed you can call and ask them what works best for them.

I used Kinko's to print my STD postcards. I took the PSD/PDF file along with a JPEG copy (just in case) but since they already have Adobe on their computers they just opened it up and formatted it properly for their printers.
It came out costing $91 for over 100 postcards. The quality was way better than my printer at home, plus they cut them to size.
Kinko's should be able to give you a quote as to how much it would cost to print and cut.
Good Luck!

I had Kinko's print our STD cards for us (onto paper that I provided) & it was fairly inexpensive.
They have their own print file type that they prefer to receive documents in for printing. It is available to download for free from their website...it's basically like a PDF writer program that converts your document into a PDF-like file that they can open & print without worrying that your margins or fonts might have gotten messed up from your computer to theirs.
You can submit files to them electronically over their website, I think, or you can bring them in to the store on a CD or disk.
For my other invitation documents, I ended up printing them on a laser printer at work & then taking them to a local print shop to be cut down to size.
