I almost fainted this morning when I entered my temp into FF and finally saw those beautiful red crosshairs. I am so happy! I've been off BC since last Dec. and never O'd or had a period on my own. This is my first cycle on Clomid, but my temps were so screwy I didn't think I'd be able to see any ovulation for sure. I thought I had, but wasn't sure.

I'm just so happy that my body is actually working!! It gets so frustrating when your body just doesn't do what it's supposed to do. I can even deal with not getting a BFP right away, now that I just know things are working!!

I was doing a trial of Ovusoft and when I entered the same info, I got nothing from Ovusoft. FF said my intercourse timing was good, Ovusoft said my chances were Low. Any opinions?

If you did ovulate, I think your CL needs to be 97.5. Which then makes the ovulation questionable as you'd be missing one temp and two would be below CL. On the other side, you did have two positive OPKs. Also, you don't really report on EW, or CP, so it's hard to read other signs to help.

I know how frustrating it is for your body not to ovulate, I don't ovulate unless I'm on clomid. So, I hope I'm not being a complete downer to you. I usually like ovusoft better than FF (which gave me tons of O dates in annovulatory cycles).

What is the significance of the cover line?

CM- I didn't record anything there, cause I really didn't have any. Which is another reason I didn't think I'd be able to see when and if I o'd. I read Clomid can dry up your CM, so I was planning on checking with my dr. about the Robitussin thing.

CP- My cervical position is as screwy as my temps. I haven't recorded anything there because it really hasn't been consistent enough for me to figure out what's high, low, open, closed.

Thanks, Jennylou

The robitussin can make whatever CM there already is thinner, more watery. But if you want MORE of it, there are some other things you can try. There was a thread a while ago about this, if you want more info:
How to increase quality/quantity of CM? (http://www.constantchatter.com/showthread.php?t=6060)

The coverline is drawn just above the temps from your follicular phase (pre-O), and the temps for your luteal phase (post-O) should all be above it. It just helps you make sure you actually O'd by showing the biphasic temp pattern. So your coverline shouldn't be below any of your pre-O temps, which means it should be about 97.5, like jennylou said. And that means your post-O temps should be above that. Occasionally one temp will be below it, but 2 temps below it makes it kind of questionable.

Also, you are missing one important temp, on cd14. By temps alone, it looks like it's possible you O'd on cd17, and just had a delayed O. In that case, if you'd kept taking OPKs, you'd probably have gotten another positive one on cd16 or so. But it's all speculation because there's so much missing info. Sorry to say so! :(

I know I'm missing info. It's just been such a busy month, we've had tons going on and I've really been a charting loser, except for the temperature. I was so pissed at myself for missing my temp on CD14, but it was my 30th birthday, and we were having a party for like 100 people here at our house that night. I had spent the whole day before getting ready and still had a ton to do, so when I woke up I just started thinking about the party and jumped up out of bed, forgetting to take my temp. Things have died down a bit in my life, so I'm hoping to do a better job at it next month. Thanks for the advice, you aren't bumming me out. Like I said, I'm just happy to be making some sort of progress. Thanks.

Well if you're going to miss an important temp, I'd say you had a pretty darn good reason! The good news is that either way, regardless of the O date, with your current temp pattern, it looks like you're probably in the LP. :)

Just wanted to pipe back in after checking your temp today. I'm going to agree with scooter on this one, it looks like you've O'd, though it's hard to pinpoint exactly which day. :)

Question, girls: Just playing around, I removed the two +OPK's from Days 13 and 14, and my crosshairs moved to Day 17, with the coverline moving to 97.5, like you said it should be. Do you think I could have read the OPK wrong? And should I remove them from the chart? It also made my crosshairs into dotted lines, anyone know what that means?

The thing is those OPKs could have been truly positive, but when we have a delayed O, the egg isn't released. In that case your body would typically wait a few days and surge again, creating another +OPK. It's just a prediction you'll O, not a definite thing. So you may have read it correctly.

Dotted crosshairs means yuor fertility signs are in conflict. So it probably means in this case that your temp pattern shows an O date on the 17th day and your OPKs indicate an O date on the 13th or 14th day. Because there was a rise on cd15, FF thinks that an O date of cd13 or 14 is a decent bet.
