The other day Emma (trash can head) was laying down next to the big living room window and when she got up the heat register vent thing was stuck to her!!! Her collar had gotten lodged in there and it just came up with her. I was laughing so hard I felt bad...so I went over and got her free as quickly as I could. I would have felt terrible if I went looking for the camera!! It really was priceless!

Last night Summer did the strangest thing. There was an empty paper box upside down on the rug, and she worked her nose under it until she'd lifted the end with her head. Then she crawled under it and let it fall back down. I waited a few minutes, but she didn't make a peep. She was just sitting in the dark with this box over top of her! I wish I'd had the camera, but all you'd see was an upside-down box anyway.

maxandmolly - Well, she's a mutt as far as I can tell. Her tag at the shelter had her listed as 'Sheltie' (riiight). Given her facial & body structure and overall obsession with food, I'm leaning toward part Beagle and something else.

Thanks. It's not nearly as cool as the huge one my Dad & I made for my old house (it spanned the big window over the front door), but they like it. There's just nowhere in the new house to put one that big, nor is there really a need for it. We made the one for the old house because my other cat, Lily, fell off the window sill (dropping about 10 feet) and fractured her hip at 4 mos. old. :eek:

Oh, she's that cat! I remember seeing those pics before but didn't realize they were one & the same. Blonde moment. Max isn't purebred-as far as I know,anyway-I adopted him from the shelter when I lived in San Francisco. (This is the best digital pic I have of him-he doesn't especially like having his picture taken.)

Max is soooo handsome! I can definitely see the Maine Coon in him. Look at those furry paws!

I know Clicqout is pure Maine Coon because my friend's mom is a breeder. She wasn't the best business woman though. If she knew someone who wanted one and knew they would give it a good home she would just give them away. All my other cats have been rescues, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take home this one.:D

I wanted to ask if those were Kringle Bears on your bench? I have one but his hat & Scarf are different (we have to keep ours high up otherwise the dog feels she needs to assert her dominence over it by dragging him on the floor and humping it :rolleyes: )
I'm glad you liked the pictures.:D Sasha has gotten so big so fast!

As for the bears, I have no idea what kind they are to be honest. Sasha hasn't touched them because we gave her one of her own to bully.;)

A couple weeks after we got our new pug, Guenter, DH went to take him out one night before bed and he decided to take a flying leap out of his arms. Now DH is 6'5" and Guenter weighed about 4 pounds at the time. When he landed, he screamed so loud and subsequently couldn't put any weight on his foot. We took him to the emergency vet and sure enough, he had broken his paw. So we had to put his entire arm in a splint and keep a cone around his head so he wouldn't chew the bandage. This made for some amusing, albeit pitiful pictures.

here is our little lap dog, lol - she always has to be sitting/leaning on whoever is next to her on the couch. here she is making herself comfortable on my poor brother who was trying to take a nap:

Thanks. Sometimes I swear Fenway is a Lab stuck in a cat's body. He even plays fetch, and I think his return rate is better than Lily's (our Lab.) He doesn't act like a cat at all.

Well, she was sitting in the dryer for a bit while I was running around the house frantically trying to find the camera so that I could take a pic for this thread. imagirliegirl that photo of Bailey just sitting there like "hello, how do you do"? is classic!!!! Totally reminds me of my last male cat, Whizzer, who used to sleep on his back, spread eagle for all the world to see (and walk around, thank you very much).

He is entirely too easy going. I think the undies had fallen on the floor when I was carrying clothes through the house. So after a few drinks I thought I should put them on Bailey! He laid there for a good ten minutes. Then he sort of walked around in them until they fell off. :)
