Ok - so I realized I have my whole outfit pulled together, and don't really need to 'borrow' anything. I have a handkerchief, all the jewelry I'm planning to wear, etc. Anyone have any other good ideas for how I can fulfill this aspect of the tradition?

Could you borrow $50 for the officiant's tip? ;)
Do you have a penny or a sixpence for your shoe? If not, you could borrow that from someone.

I was in the same boat, pretty much. I had my whole outfit put together & didn't really "need" to borrow anything, other than to follow tradition of old, new, borrowed & blue. I ended up borrowing a large purple jade pendant from my MIL (it used to belong to her mother), which I pinned onto the ribbons that were wrapped around the stems of my bouquet. ;)
Here's a pic:

Good luck!

Like the others have posted, your something borrowed doesn't have to actually be part of your whole look. Several friends of mine pinned jewelry or small peices of family heirlooms (a square from a handkerchief or mom's wedding dress, etc) to their crinolines. ANother friend borrowed her lipstick. There are lots of options! Good luck.

For my friend's wedding, she borrowed my tussy mussy for her bouquet. She was going to borrow my veil, but the color didn't match her dress.
