I was just wondering if any ladies here had children with any physical or mental disabilites. My daughter has both, but is very high functioning. She is 6 years old and we are having a little problem. Yesterday she hit her physical therapist in the nose because she didn't want to finish her water therapy, she wanted to play. Madison has no behaviorial issues, she just doesn't always realize her actions could hurt someone else. Any advice as to how I should proceed? As for her therapy session yesterday, I immediately stopped and took her out of the water. Made her apologize to the her therapist and she was not allowed to play when she got home. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreicated!!!!
