Does anyone know about web design? I am building a website and am hoping for information on things such as HTML code, finding out how to use polls/voting buttons, etc.

Let me know if there is anyone else out there!

WOW! I was hoping for information on where I could find out how to write the code for a poll. I.e. "What's your favorite color?" and then have options like "Red," "Blue," etc.

Where can you get a degree in web design! I'd love to take some classes!

Have you tried htmlgoodies (http://www.htmlgoodies.com)? They have alot of tips for writing HTML codes.

Another place to use is DaveSite HTML tutorial (http://http://www.davesite.com/webstation/html/). They cover just about everything.

Those pages are great, if you're doing the coding by hand. I use Microsoft Frontpage 2000, which cuts alot of the coding by hand out. Another HTML editor is Coffeecup, available at www.coffecup.com (http://www.coffeecup.com).

And I got my degree from the Web Page Designer program at Education Direct (http://www.educationdirect.com).

It's me again. I still can't find a good place to get a poll. I got one at Pollhost.com, but you have to vote in order to see the results. I want a poll where you can view the results w/o voting. Thoughts?

Can anyone tell me if Microsoft Frontpage 2000 or 2003 is pretty easy to play around with and figure out OR do you really need to a lot about web design? TIA!

I LOVE Front Page. If fact, I'm tempted to buy it.

It's like a combination of Paint and Word. What you see is what you get. You can change colors, fonts, etc using simple menus.

I used to use it a while back. It actually helped me learn code because I would create a simple page, then modify it by hand. It really helped me understand how to do things.

Plus, if you're in a hurry, it lets you slap a page together without looking up code stuff.
