I'm so frustrated, my work computer was updated over the weekend, and I have a new version of Word Perfect without all of my preferences. I almost always have multiple documents open and am copying and pasting from one doc into another. I used to have a toolbar on the bottom of the screen that showed all open documents and I simply had to click on the one I wanted to display. Now, I can't figure out how to get that toolbar back, I've searched through the help menu and all the toolbars but don't know what that one was called or what the function was. So now I always have to minimize the front window and find my other document, then pull up that window and maximize it, much more work to go back and forth and I'm frustrated.
Anybody know what I'm talking about and how to get the function back?
I will be eternally grateful.
Bumping, because I would love to know the answer to this too.
Do you have the toolbar at the bottom that starts with "start?"

Go to "View" and click on "Application bar". That should take care of it. :)
Yep, that's where I was going with my question. Sounds like you don't have the application bar "viewing." It happens sometimes when you get new Microsoft products loaded. As a matter of fact all of your settings disappear. Big pain in the booty.

Yes, definitely big pain! I hate that all of my short-cuts (including little personalized "quick correct" options I had developed for my shorthand) and preferences have disappeared.
I figured it was a toolbar, but I can't seem to find the right one. I think maybe I received a different version of WP, because the available toolbars I have are "ruler bar" "power bar" "status bar" and "word perfect 7 toolbar." I thought it was the "status bar" (the one on the bottom) that would display open doc's, but I can't find that option anywhere. :(

Oh, I'm using Word Pefect 12, so the commands must not be the same.

Well, thanks for trying anyway. I'll keep looking. The weird thing is this looks like it's supposed to be an updated version, but 7 seems rather old, no? Hmmmm. I have no idea what I had before. Alas.
