I thought the same thing about Star--she did lose a lot of weight it looks like! I personally still don't like her though. :D And I remember thinking how skinny Sandra Oh was when I saw her in Sideways, but she looks even tinier in that dress!

Holy crap--Macy Gray just came on! She looks so different! I still remember her back when she first started and she was as um,....fashionable as she looks now!

I LOVED the Donald and Megan Mullally singing Green Acres. I need to find a picture of that so I can post it to my refrigerator! I was wondering why David Letterman was at the Emmy's but then he started talking about Carson. That would be the only reason he would ever show up. (He talked about not going to the Emmys again a few years ago, I think he was talking about speeding tickets, but I cannot remember exactly!) I have to say, I love Ellen DeGeneris. Her humor is so low key and understated that it makes me laugh even harder!

The Green Acres song with The Donald in denim overalls was hilarious!

Did anyone else catch the dialogue between Eva Longoria and Ellen? It looked like Eva's dress was kinda loose on her, especially around the chest area since she's not well-endowed. I swear everyone can see Eva's breasts since her dress was so low-cut and there didn't appear to be double-sided tape used. :eek:

~I was thrilled Felicity Huffman won--I think she is the best actress on DH. I have loved her since Sports Night. And her accpetance speech was adorable--so sweet.
~I was sad Peter Boyle didn't win--he's the only member of Raymond without an Emmy and he is awesome!
~I loved S. Epatha Merkerson's acceptance speech--she was hilarious!
~I love that the actress from DH who won best guest actess (also from West Wing) told Joan Rivers her shoes came from Loehmann's!
~I thought the tribute to Johnny Carson was amazing, as was the tribute to the newscasters.

~If Tony Shaloub (Monk) wins ONE more Emmy I'm gonna lose it.

I have to agree about Patricia Arquette. Aside from the fact that she was exploding out of that dress, what was up with her hair?? It looked like her stylist put big rollers in the front but then didn't comb them when they came out! Yuck.

I got the impression she was walking like that so she could swing her hair around. Just made her look like a teenager, to me.

One more thing--
When I think formalwear I don't think dresses above the knee. Is it just me, or do those styles look way too "prom?"
