I like jazz, but I don't know anything about it. I got hooked on some CDs DH had to buy for an intro to jazz college class. It's all classics like Louis, Billie Holliday, Ella Fitzgerald, etc. I love the "old-fashioned" sounding songs. But I couldn't give any names or titles of works, I just enjoy the sound of it. I'd love to hear some recommendations.

Well, I can't give any recommendations, because I'm not a jazz fan - LOL - which is why I'm trying to find some. Although the hubby is a bit of a fan, though he likes the Thelonias Monk, freestyle kind of stuff.

DH likes him, I don't know his work though. We inherited a ton of records frm my granddad, they're in a box in the basement...I wish he was around to educate me about it.
