Not sure if anyone cares or not, but I thought that this was interesting seeing as though I wanted to be here so bad when I was little... Look how much she has changed.
The Return of Kelly LeBrock
In the 1980s, model-turned-actress KELLY LeBROCK was the very definition of the term "sex symbol." Who else could have gotten away with saying "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful" in all those Pantene shampoo ads or successfully served as the embodiment of the perfect woman in the JOHN HUGHES comedy classic 'Weird Science'?
Now, after a brief self-imposed hiatus to raise her three children, the 'Woman in Red' star is coming back in a big way -- as a contestant on the next installment of the popular VH1 reality series "Celebrity Fit Club."
"I don't see anybody else offering me money to get back in shape, so I'll go out and have a good time," says Kelly about her decision to do the program. "It's going to be interesting to be out there and show all of America my weaknesses, but what the hey."
And for what may be a career-first for her, the still-comely Kelly was actually free to pack on the pounds prior to filming. "I was a little underweight for the show, so I kind of beefed up," she admits, adding with a laugh, "I got myself up pretty high, so I'm hoping I can tape my mouth shut because it's hard once you get rolling on a nice nutritiously fat food diet."
Regardless of the outcome, Kelly still has a lot on her proverbial plate. "I'm producing movies now," says the 45-year-old, who is the driving force behind three films, including 'The Redeeming Season,' which is based on a true story. "It's about a man and his special needs child and he has to go back into her life," she explains. "And you realize that through all the special needs children that the father is the one with all the handicaps."
But LeBrock lovers, fear not -- this brunette beauty will soon be strutting her stuff once again in front of the cameras as well. "I love doing movies and I think I have a few fans out there that would still like to see me," she says with a smile.
