I'm running into a deadlinr for a grant proposal I'm working on and need soem help ASAP. I dont' know what somethign is called or how to correctly refer to it and I'm hoping you tech savy ladies can help.
Basically, I'm explaining what we will use for measuarable objectives for the project we want the grant for. I';m trying to exdplain that we will use soem fancy software we apprantly have to track what websites people coem from to view a certain webpage of ours. THe content we want to post is geared towards universities, so if people come to our page form another university's site that links to our page, for example, that woudl be a good thing. I just don't know what all this is called. Here's what I have, roughly, but I don't even know if it makes sense because I'm not sure what the offical terms for this sort of tracking or for the site visitors come from is called.
"Traffic to the streaming video content [Producing and posting this video is what we are looking for funding for] on the [Organization's name]'s website will be monitored so that the origination sites used as portals to reach these videos and curriculum can be tracked. The sites from which the video page is accessed or from which links are used to reach this content will be evaluated to ensure we are reaching our targeted audience of universities and other academic institutions."
Does that even makes sense? TIA!!!
