Its a little early for this (we're not getting married until June 2006) but I am thinking about getting tented placecards that can be printed on a computer (the guests name and table). Has anyone done this? If so, do you have any pictures and/or ideas where to buy these.
Thanks, :)

I will be doing it, and I helped a friend. We got them at Staples...(not sure if Staples is in the US too....)
Really easy to do so long as you can get the template (likely you will download it off the internet)

we did this for our wedding, actually my mom actually did them for me, and she said it was really easy and quick. I don't think i have a pic of our placecard table. I can't remember exactly where she bought them, but i know i've seen them at Micheals, joannes, hobby lobby... they might even have them at staples. Good luck.

Yeah- I got mine at Staples. I think it was like $5 for 50 cards. In the packet it had a website to go to to get the template and work from that. It was real easy to do and looked nice. I don't have any pics from my wedding though, sorry about that.
I think Michael's sells them too. Get the 40% off coupon in the Sunday paper and buy with that. Always try to save.
Good luck!

I wanted slightly larger-sized cards so I could get a little creative with the printing. This is what I made:

I got mine from LCI Paper (http://www.lcipaper.com) for $6/50 cards. I used LCI for all my wedding stationery and was very, very happy.
HTH! :D

Sweet Red - nice paper. How were you able to print on it? Were you able to use a regular computer printer?

We bought our place cards at Michaels and did them ourselves. We just used our regular inkjet printer to print ours - and then turned out great! Here is a pic:

anydaynow61 Yep, we just used a regular printer. Most were done on our home laser-jet, but we had to re-do a couple last minute at my parents' house with an ink-jet. There was a minor, minor difference in quality, but you'd never know if you weren't holding them side by side.

What we did was buy placecards, and then print the guests' names in a pretty font on clear labels. We just stuck the labels on the placecard 'name space' and it looked nice :).
