I hope you will love my hometown as much as I do. :D (I'm in Tampa now. I miss SoBe so much!)

As a matter of fact, I will also be on South Beach today through Sunday. Maybe we'll see each other LOL! :)

A few of my favorites (from the casual to the $$$$)

The News Cafe' (there is also one in Coconut Grove) on Ocean Drive and 7th Street. Casual. Dine inside or outside. I like to eat outside and people watch.

Tantra (http://www.tantrarestaurant.com/index2.html) is good, but it's a bit far from all the action. It's on Pennsylvania and 15th Streets.

I love Belgian food so I really like Le Bon (http://cityguide.aol.com/southflorida/dining/venue.adp?sbid=287731) on Lincoln Road.

Talula (www.talulaonline.com) is also good and has outdoor seating too.

We recently had sushi at Nobu and it was very good. It's off of Collins and I believe 19th or 20th street.

Blue Door in the Delano.

Fish Called Avalon in the Majestic. Haven't been there but heard good things!

Van Dyke's on Lincoln Road just for casual food. The only thing I haven't liked there is the falafel. Kind of disappointing, but I've enjoyed everything else.

A best kept secret is Espanola Way. There is a little Mexican place there I love to eat at, but I never remember the name of it! If you walk up and down you can't miss it. Plus there are other places to eat there too.

Barton G is also supposed to be good. I haven't been there, though. I think we might try this on Saturday night. That or go back to Le Bon. I can't decide! LOL

Hope this helps. Have a great time! Happy Birthday!
