Anybody watch Everwood? Apparently it is going to be on Thursdays this season and premieres on the 29th.

I have watched Everwood in the past, but this season it's on a good night. I was shocked they moved and already struggling show opposite so many other good shows. I'm afraid I've chosen to watch another show instead. I am curious as to what happens with Ephram and Amy though.

I used to watch it and I somehow got my BF hooked on the show (although he won't admit it to anyone). He even makes me tape it if he can't be home to watch it.

So glad Ephram came back. Wonder if he's staying....
Delia sure matured a lot over the summer.

I like Amy's hair short like that.

I'll give y'all a quick recap. Sorry I don't have a lot of time to type out too many details.
Bright moved out and is getting an apartment. He ended up choosing a gay guy that his sister had developed a crush on while taking her mother to chemo treatments at ths hospital all summer. He's a resident at the hospital. His name is Reed. She didn't know he was gay until the end of the show when Bright told her. Edna and Irv got married. Ephram shows up in the very last scene at the wedding. Nina chose Jake after they went in to what happened aftre Andy kissed her. The new restaurant Jake bought for Nina is going to be named "Sam's" aftre her son. Nina told Jake she loved him. He seems to be real good with Sam. Bright surprised Hannah picking her up at the airport. They are together now and he took her as a date to the wedding. She looked pretty all made up.
Hope that was good, did I miss anything ladies?
Oh yeah, Amy and her mom had a heart to heart. Rose (her mom) is worried that Amy will resent her for having to give up the college life to take care of her dying mother. She is starting at CO A&M this semester and living at home.

did y'all watch last night?
I always cry during this frickin' show!!!
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting sick of all of this back and forth with Ephram and Amy. They've been doing this since Day One of the show. I'm loving the Bright and Hannah storyline.
Preview tricked me: was the kiss they showed with Nina and Andy the old one or a new one??
mgrace

I can't read the spoiler--the white doesn't show up.
Got to watch it last night. I love Delia and I like Bright and Hannah together. I'm over the Ephram and Amy story line--maybe they can find new partners to be mopey with!

I haven't watched last night's show yet. It's taped. I'm loving Bright and Hannah and i love Amy's new cut, too. I am glad Ephram came back and I hope his character lightens up a bit soon. Looking forward to the new season heating up.

I taped it last night and just watched it today. I can't believe Ephram expected his father to shell out cash for an apartment for him. Because he "owes him"? Lame excuse. I'm glad he realized his mistake. The check in the fridge was cute. :) I love Hannah and Bright together. I can't believe she didn't think she meant more to him than "Candice" (That made me laugh :D ).

10-15-2005, 09:21 AM
are y'all still watching?
So Reid isn't gay?? Or he's bisexual?? Huh??
Bright and Hannah love story is kind of cute, but could they be more opposite? She's "training" him well. Wonder what he's going to do when she won't have sex with him
Mellow_Water1
10-15-2005, 02:58 PM
I would have thought Reid was gay if Bright hadn't said it. Since he just assumed Reid was gay, that's when I figured he was straight.
jmvan74
10-16-2005, 05:53 PM
Reid's not gay. Bright just assumed that b/c he's a neat freak who's cultured! LOL! Hmmmm....where does that leave amy??? I wonder what's going to happen with Bright and hannah, now that she saw him all wild.
stevesbabygirl
10-16-2005, 06:51 PM
Reid had mentioned having a "partner" though.
EmilyBronte
10-16-2005, 06:58 PM
I sort of thought that when Bright was "interviewing" Reid to be his roommate that Bright sort of offhanded mentioning he was holding out for his "friend" to come room with him. I took the whole thing as... Bright made a vague comment about his friend that Reid took to mean "partner" and then Reid responded about his last "partner" which Bright took to mean as Reid being gay.
Does that make sense? I figured all along that Reid wasn't gay and Bright misinterpreted what Reid was telling him.
southerner

hmmm....after reading what y'all wrote, I don't know that I remember that whole scene with Bright and Reid.....I thought he said he was gay??

I watched the previews, but I don't remember some things.
I think Andy & Ephram go camping with Bright and Harold. Bright tells Ephram that Hannah doesn't believe in premarital sex. Ephram meets Kyle's mother. Sorry, I don't remember the rest. Oh, and Reid asks Amy to go to somekind of Halloween fundraiser.

last nights episode was pretty good. I was surprised that Ephram admitted to his dad that he came back because he loved Amy. Whooops..... a little late. This should be an interesting turn of events. I'm not sure about Reid. i think he is a player.
I couldn't read Bright's change of heart at the end...did he realize he actually cared more about this girl or did he just feel guilty b/c she looked so happy to see him. i'd like to think its the former.
Mellow_Water1
10-28-2005, 11:05 AM
I wasn't sure about what Bright thought, either. When he hesitated about going to the door, I was a little sad, but I was glad that he went on, because it showed he had the courage to talk to her instead of running away. And then when he didn't break up with her, I wondered if he really did change his mind, or was just too afraid to admit that he wanted to break up with her.
southerner
10-29-2005, 04:03 PM
I'm hoping Bright had a change of heart and when he saw her he decided that he enjoyed her company and who he was when he's around her more than the possible sex they could have. But, knowing Bright (or the character they've given him), it won't last long. Hannah is going to be broken hearted :(
Am I the only one who doesn't want Ephram and Amy to get back together? I don't really know why, they kind of annoyed me when they were togther, but nonetheless, they go back and forth all the time

I thought it was cute when they went out last year, but I can't picture it working out well now. They should stay friends, and work on that relationship. Plus, I missed some of what was said when Reid showed up at Amy's house, so I wanna see where that goes. They did kiss, right?
southerner
10-30-2005, 12:44 AM
Yes, they did. Reid leaned in and initiated the kiss. Amy was cute about it.
What was Amy's "bad" boyfriend's (the druggy) name?? Remember when Harold saved the day
I was surprised that Ephram admitted to his dad that he came back because he loved Amywhat a dork it took 3 months to realize that! but it will probably make a nice love triangle reid/amy/ephram. I do Love amy and E together!

i really wish Ephram would cut his hair. Yuck. Reid is hot, but i just don't like him. I'm so glad harold backed off Rose and planned the africa trip.
Andy and jake in counseling. pretty funny. Of course, it turned out that jake was jealous of andy's career...well afraid he had more to offer nina anyway.
My favorite scene from last night was when ephram took Kyle up the mountain.

Now, I think Bright is the hottest guy on the show! Ephram - cut your hair! Dr. Brown - do you make housecalls? hee hee Amy - I still think she got implants over the summer. I love Hannah - she's so sweet. Harold did a great thing for Rose - he's a little slow but he always pulls through in the end.
Good show!

okay, I think I agree about Amy's boobs. Implants maybe. Late bloomer maybe. she is still young. It will be interesting to see how the Amy/Reid thing plays out. How awkward that he and Ephram live together. Maybe that will send Ephram back to his Dad's house???

Harold looked so funny running out of the general store :p I think he is my favorite character. :)
Mellow_Water1
11-17-2005, 09:08 PM
I think I remember most of it:
Jake finally takes a day off of work to go bike riding down a rocky mountain with his friend. This convinces Andy and Harold to do something risky as well. They both make a list of things they want to do, and #3 on Harold's list is shoplifting gum from the general store. They both agree that they should go skydiving. When Jake and his friend take the trip to go bike riding down the mountain, his friend goes first and does okay for a while, but then takes a huge spill off of his bike and slams onto the rocks below. Nina tells Andy about this, and she asks that he not go skydiving. The friend is probably paralyzed from the waist down, and is really depressed about it, and Jake sort of blames himself, but when Edna asks he pretends to be fine.
So Andy and Harold don't go skydiving, but they still want some sort of adventure, so while in the general store Harold puts a pack of gum in his pocket, and nearly trips all over the place out of nervousness to get out, but he manages to with Andy cheering him on. Andy asks the clerk to put the gum on his tab. :p
Amy plans a surprise party to wish Hannah a goodbye, but Hannah knows her too well, and asks her to cancel it because it would be too hard. Amy realizes just how much she'll miss Hannah, and is really down in the dumps but trying not to show it. Ephram tells Hannah this, so when she and Amy are shopping, she tells her that they'll never lose each other, and that she should go to a kegger or something to meet people. She goes with Ephram so she won't be alone and has a great time. They were just talking with people and dancing to the music. Oh, in the beginning of the episode, Amy sort of asks Reid about whether the relationship is still casual. He lies and tells her that he just didn't realize how hard med school would be, so he can't handle it right now.
Bright surprises Hannah by taking her to the school so they could have their prom together, and Hannah said it was the perfect night. By the end of the date, Hannah says she wants to break up because the memories were so perfect, and she was afraid she'd lose that if they had a long distance relationship. Bright hates this idea. Hannah runs into her room crying, and the next morning, an hour before their flight, Hannah's mom said she thought it'd be best if Hannah finishes HS in Everwood, and that she'd visit a lot. Hannah is ecstatic about this. :)
The ep ends with Jake thinking about the situation with his friend, and then he reached for some prescription pills and just stares at them, so we're left wondering if he'll take them or not.
Whew! Sorry if you only wanted a brief recap! :)

So, Hannah left the airport, went back to Nina's, and stayed in Everwood?
They never left for the airport. Her Mom went into her room to get her to leave for the airport and told her that Hannah's happiness was the most important thing to her. I was going to be made if they had left things like that btw her and Bright (her running away from him).
The ep ends with Jake thinking about the situation with his friend, and then he reached for some prescription pills and just stares at them, so we're left wondering if he'll take them or not.
The pills were percocet and remember they were an issue last year? Nina found them when he was moving into her house and confronted him about them. He told her that he takes them occasionally. I wish I had looked at the date on the bottle last night. Anyone do that or willing to go back and look? Just wondering if it's been refilled lately and how many refills are left.

Agree that was a good episode. In fact, I think this is actually one of the better seasons they've had. I'm bummed it's not going to be for a lllooooonnnnnggggg time :( What an episode to leave us with!
From the WB website, January 12, Beauty and the Geek will take its place for 8 weeks; but on March 9 ( ) Everwood returns with FRESH episodes for the REST OF THE SEASON! No stopping. That is a lot of episodes in a row (13 to be exact).
I find myself totally relating with Hannah sometimes, esp. with that whole beauty hangup she was having. Wonder if they'll end up having sex this year?
I did like the Amy/Ephram scene, even though I'm not necessarily a big fan of them being together.
Also wondering if Nina and Andy will end upo together or if she'll work things out with Jake. Or neither could be the case, I guess.
If this show is around for another season or two, they can do a lot with Delia's character. She's a cute girl.

The CW -- America's new fifth terrestrial network being created out of a merger between The WB and UPN -- has confirmed that it plans to stick with its current moniker.
Despite being mockingly called "The WC" in some quarters, the network's entertainment chief Dawn Ostroff has revealed that the name already has close to 50% recognition among The CW's 18-34 demographic.
The network has also started indicating which shows will be returning for the 2006-07 TV season. Everwood, Reba, Everybody Hates Chris, Veronica Mars, Gilmore Girls, Supernatural and One Tree Hill have all been mentioned on promo leaflets for the network's launch.
Also among announcements from The CW were confirmations on 27 new station affiliates; the network now has around 66% US terrestrial coverage.

Good shows, as I knew they would be.
Who do y'all think the abortion was for? Madison? The record Amy found didn't have a name on it, right? Just a number?
I feel the pre-teenage angst that Delia is experiencing. She's a good young actress. I'm excited about the Bat Mitzvah issues she's getting ready to eno****er. (I'm Jewish and have a feeling I'm going to relate to her even more after that).
Nina and Jake are going to try to work things out, huh? I guess I like them together. When she was talking about always being the one to help vulnerable people, I was realizing that's the same position she'd be in if she were with Andy.
I think I'm done analyzing the show now :o (until tomorrow, at least)

I liked the two episodes...just some thoughts...
I thought Amy looked wierd. I still love, love, love Hanna and Brite. Too cute. I am so glad Ephram is playing the piano again. It was like a part of his character was missing. For the first time, I actually liked Nina and Jake together. It finally felt like they were being real. I was thinking the abortion was for Madison, too, but that doesn't make much sense. Who else could it have been? Hmmmmmm. Maybe it doesn't matter who it was, maybe it's just the point that Amy is going to see Harold in a different light.
I understand that Amy is trying to keep her mind off Ephram, but the whole throwing yourself in to the feminist movement is kind of freaking me out. I don't really like the proffessor, I feel like there is an agenda there.
Amy was weird and mean to hannah! I love amy and E together! she needs to get away from her teacher. She's really weird. the whole abortion thing I think has to do we amy and her dad having different view points. I'm so happy its back!

I remember a while ago (like maybe 2 seasons), Andy couldn't bring himself to do an abortion, and was going to send an Everwood girl to Denver. So, even though he doesn't agree with it, Harold stepped up, because he didn't want the girl to have to be surrounded by strangers in an unfamiliar setting.
Maybe they just want to change her view of Harold? Because the social worker that Ephram saw let him know where his baby was. Anyone else remember that?

Brenda, I totally remember that, but I couldn't put a face to the girl, so I thought I might have been remembering incorrectly.

Okay, Amy is really getting on my nerves. What a freakin kiss up! If she were any more up that teacher's butt she'd get lost! I so hated her reaction to her Harold. He was okay with agreeing to disagree and she was acting like some kind of baby b/c daddy didn't agree with her views.
I was happy to see Ephram come to the realization that he was so involved with Kyle b/c he felt guilty about the adoption situation.
I got all teary eyed when Delia read her speech to Andy. So sweet.

Once again, this show brought me to tears. More than once
I often wonder if there's going to be any good family shows left in the world by the time my children are adolescents. This show is a great example of one I'd love to watch with my future children.
I'm thinking something just isn't right about that professor. Since when do you tell your students that you think someone is hot? Especially someone you know  She seems to have no boundaries. I'll die if they have her and Amy develop feelings for each other. Although, it looks like they might touch on homosexuality with Kyle next week. I so wish Ephram would apply for that job that he pointed Kyle toward.
Nina and Jake are cute together.

OMG....I *so* thought the SAME thing. My first reaction to the professor was that she was gay and was getting "chummy" with Amy because she had the hotts for her. It's just something about that professor that rubs me the wrong way (not b/c I think shes gay). She just really seemed to be into Amy when Amy could help her out....but as soon as Amy said her dad wouldn't do it, the professor just blew her off.

He agrees that abortion should be legal and that there should be trained medical professionals able to perform the procedure. He just can't actually perform one himself. My take on Andy would be that he believes that the student docs should get the training, and then make the decision on their own.
I was annoyed at Amy for not continuing the conversation with Harold the next day. I think it would have been a worthwhile exploration of each other's opinions. It's a complex issue, and Amy wants to boil it down to "with me or against me" when it's clearly not that simple.

So I thought it was a good episode. I was so mad when that 18-year-old said she wanted a mastectomy; I'm glad she changed her mind. I figured Kyle was gay right after he walked away from turning down Kelly. Loved that bit Ephram threw in about how he voted for Kerry. I wonder if anyone will ever find out that Harold put "no" on the adoption application re: cancer history.
I missed a second of the preview for next week, is the person who's in the accident shown?

Mellow_Water1, They never showed the person in the wreck. I'm posting what my TIVO says about next's week's episode in white in case someone doesn't want to read.
It says that Andy and Jake disagree about going to the police about the drunk driver in the car accident.
Ephram is starting to freak me out with his obsession with Kyle, Hannah and Bright are still so cute together. Looks like Bright really has changed his ways. Shame. Shame on Harold for lying on the application. That *has* to come back and bite him.

It was more like Ephram outed him (in a private conversation). Basically, Ephram forced Kyle to face up to it after Kyle's reaction to going to the dance with the chicky. Although they talked about Kyle liking someone (and I'm going to go on the obvious assumption that it will be Ephram), he didn't 'fess up any specifics. Plus, he's still in serious denial and avoidance mode.

I read this spoiler on The WB message boards (in white).
For the season finale, they are filiming two episodes. It will depend on whether or not the CW network picks in up for next season which one they show. From thewb.com. I posted in white just in case. :)
Andy (Treat Williams) and Jake (Scott Wolf) witness a car crash and save the life of the intoxicated driver (guest star Ryan Hurst), then disagree over whether they should report him to the police. Ephram (Gregory Smith) convinces Reid (Justin Baldoni) to talk to a counselor about his academic problems, but the session does more harm than good. Amy (Emily VanCamp) and Hannah (Sarah Drew) try to spend some quality time together, but they continue to disagree about friends, relationships and politics. Meanwhile, Harold (Tom Amandes) is shocked to find Rose (Merrilyn Gann) smoking medicinal pot with a man from her cancer survivor group. Chris Pratt and Stephanie Niznik also star.

Bright and Hannah have an argument about whether or not they're relationship is based on lies. Hannah leaves angry and then Bright runs in to the old "fake ID" girl. He helps her move a table and sleeps with her. (oh yeah, Bright has a broken hand from doing some stupid trick..can't remember what)
Meanwhile, Kyle gets an audition for Juliard and Ephram prepares for a recital with his students. Ephram decides he wants to go to CO A&M to study music. Andy convinces him there are other great music schools if he wants to be a concert pianist. Andy takes Ephram to a performance by some big wig pianist and Ephram has a chance to talk with him. After the talk he realizes, he does not want to be a concert pianist, but a teacher and tells his dad his plans. He agrees to pay for A&M.
*Kyle shows up to the recital to tell Ephram that he got accepted to Juliard with scholarship and that he told his mom he was gay. He thanks Ephram for changing his life.
Hannah shows up at Bright's (after he avoids her calls) and tells him she's so sorry. She loves him and wants things to work and she promises not to pretend anymore. Bright hugs her and is feeling SSSOOOO guilty, but he doesn't tell her what happened. The End.
**Totally forgot about the Jake/Nina story line. Nina wants to take Jake away for the weekend to propose to him. She is thinking she wants to have a baby. Jake tells her he's too busy and has some conference thing to do for the support group he started. Jake realizes she wants a baby and tells her he is no where near ready for that. I think Nina realized this relationship is not going to go where she wants. Kind of sad for her.

My favorite part of this episode was that you could see the wheels turning when Ephram was meeting the pianist (aaron?). The advisor just said that this happens to a lot of people, so maybe if Reid doubled his study time, he should be fine. Reid said he already studies around 14 hours a day. So the advisor said pre-med is not for everyone.

Yeah, I felt like it was kind of slow. The whole Reid thing was sad, but it didn't move the storyline. At least not yet. Maybe it will cause some future changes. I felt sad for Nina. It's like she feels trapped. I really don't see her and Jake together.
The scene with Hanna and Rose was funny and sad, but done well. I got the feeling that Ephram leaving at the end is going to make Amy rethink things, which of course will ultimately lead to the reintroduction of Madison and the viscious cycle continues.

They slept together when they were dating. They also slept together the last episode before the winter break. (I missed that one, so I don't have any details.)

According to tv.com (http://www.tv.com),
A very-much-in-love Ephram discovers that he has unwittingly become a "girlfriend" to Amy, but the friendship takes a turn for something more when a moment of intimacy leads to them waking up together the next morning.
(This was the episode that they last slept together, and it aired on 12/08/05).

They were broken up, but it's one of those things that "just happened." The next morning is when Amy found all those postcards he had written her in Europe, but never mailed.

I read a few months ago that Greg Berlanti wanted to see if other networks would pick Everwood up if CW cut it. Hopefully that's strill true, but I don't know.
I really don't like Jake, and I don't even really have a good reason for it. He's a nice guy, but ugh.
I'm realy glad Hannah went out with Nick at least once, even if it doesn't work out.
I liked the interaction between Andy and his father.

I think that's the first time we've ever heard anything about Andy's parents. I'm glad they brought his father into the picture. I think it explains alot about Andy and his relationship w/ his children.
I was glad to see Andy speak up about Nina in the previews for next week.

Me too. I am sad that it is ending, but I would've been more upset if the writers didn't try to resolve things before its end.
And, since the spoiler is out about Irv, I just thought I'd post my thoughts. I love his character. I wish he wasn't going to die, almost in the same way that I wish the show wasn't going to die. He was the one who told us the story of Everwood, with his narrations in previous seasons, and now he will end, along with the show. So, in that way, I think it's sort of nice, under the circumstances. I hope people understand what I mean; I don't mean to be morbid.

*sigh* :( I love this show. I hope it doesn't take forever for the season DVDs to be released. I don't have any other series DVDs because I don't feel like spending the $, but this show is so different.
I liked this episode, sad as it was. I liked how the scenes were flashbacks between the characters and Irv, but they were new scenes for us. I wouldn't have liked it if the episode turned into a compilation of rerun scenes, like some other shows do. But then, Everwood just is not "some other show" for me.
Loved Harold's reaction to Edna's black coffee comment. He is my favorite.
The last scene was truly heartbreaking.
And the music in the series--man, I love it.

I have turned into one of those obsessed fans, but if you go to www.teavee.com/everwood/ you can vote for Everwood. If it reaches at least #10 by June 1st, I have heard that different networks will consider saving it. Copied from www.tvguide.com:
Your Dawn Ostroff interview about Everwood kicked ass! Is there anything us Everwood fans can do to get CW to give it a mid-season pickup? I've already signed the petition. — Bree
Ausiello: I signed it, too. Not sure there's much else we can do, except bombard Ms. Ostroff with letters and get as many people as possible to watch Everwood's final episodes. Apparently, per CW policy, if a show attracts more than seven million viewers, it automatically gets renewed. And that includes episodes that are advertised as a series finale. (THIS JUST IN: Check out my blog for breaking news on a major Everwood player heading to Gilmore Girls!)
Please tell everyone you know to tune into the 2-hour finale next week!
Can you tell I want to save the show?

*Bump*
From www.everwoodonline.com
[snip]
I have sources at The WB - and they tell me that although all actors have been released from their contracts, talks have begun again and The CW executives are trying to re-open deals with the main cast from Seasons One-Three (don't know what that means for Hannah.)
Anyways, as it stands, Everwood's renewal would be for midseason for nine episodes for an option of an additional 4 scripts (13 in total) if ratings would be good... from what I'm hearing from my sources... Everwood stands at a 30% chance now for renewal contingent on the cast wanting to return.

More at the source.

I'm trying to prepare myself if it turns out that the show really is cancelled. I haven't found a show that I like this much in a long time (I don't watch much new tv). At least, if it gets cancelled, I think it will go out on a good note. I don't think any of the seasons have turned sour. I wish the rest of the series DVDs were released. I've heard the show is having problems releasing them because network execs. don't think they will sell. I don't understand why there is so much underestimation about this show.
But, I've heard that the reason talks have reopened about the show was because of the outpouring of fan letters in the mail. So, I guess the execs are hearing the fans' voices.

Here are my predictions for the season finale:
*We find out Irv was actually murdered by Louise, Dr. Abbot's nurse, because they had been having an affair and Irv refused to leave Edna.
*Harold and Rose Abbot adopt a 7 year old little girl from China, only to discover that the child is actually a 14 year boy in disguise who got adopted to come to America and find his male lover, who left him a year ago.
*Ephram admits that the reason his roommate tried to kill himself is because of him. They had been having an affair and the roommate found out he had AIDS, and he couldn't face Epram to tell him the news.
*Amy admits that she loves Ephram, and he has to tell her that he's gay and the feelings are not mutual. Additionally, we found out that Amy and Ephram had a one night stand recently and that he may have infected her with AIDS.
*Hannah finds out that she's pregnant and has to tell Bright. The problem is that it's not Bright's child. It turns out that Hannah had a one night stand with Ephram after an evening of heavy drinking and her crying about how Bright cheated on her.
*Bright and Ephram have a huge fight. We find out that they also had a one night stand after a night of heavy drinking and crying about relationships. Ephram also has to tell Bright about possibly having AIDS.
*Jake gets discovered to be on a new TV show about a family of 5 orphaned kids that live in San Francisco. He leaves Everwood without a second glance and knows he'll easily replace Nina, since she wasn't any fun anyway. He longs to go back to his old drinking and drugging ways.
*Nina and Andy finally have a night together, and Delia walks in on them the next morning. She begs Andy to marry Nina, who admits that she was never really attracted to Andy and only wanted a free babysitter. Delia is crushed and runs away, and it turns out she went with Andy's dad. We later learn that his dad is a pedophile attracted to girls of Delia's age.
*We later learn that Ephram had also had an affair with his grandfather and Nina. He was trying to hook up with Rose Abbot but it didn't happen before the series ended. It turned out that Rose wanted to have an affair with Ephram in hopes that she'd get pregnant and not have to adopt.
*Delia had been raising chickens in the back yard to raise money to buy a new bike and it turns out that she brought Avian Flu to Everwood.

I watched on Monday, but I haven't been back here yet. I knew from the previews that Amy would declare her undying love for Ephram. But in the first scene of the show, when Stephanie (or "Stephram" haha :D ) was shown in Ephram's house, I was wondering how the show would all work out without everything seeming too rushed. Under normal circumstances, the episode would seem rushed. (Andy proposing? Although I knew it was coming. But they haven't been on one date have they?) BUT, the episode was beautifully written, I thought. I didn't mind the pace of it at all; I enjoyed it, after all, a girl needs closure. (I loved how Nina mentioned something about closure a few episodes ago).
Did anyone hear about the newest campaign? People are raising $ to put a ferris wheel outside of the network building. I think the fund is up to more than $4000 now. I am putting (or did put) my effort into letters to Dawn and getting the Season 1 DVDs...it's $16.99 at Amazon now! (Of course, I ordered mine when it was $19.99 just the day before, but oh well, still cheap and worth it!) And I read an article that the Warner network is not planning on releasing any more seasons on DVD because the sales rank of the first one has not been good. But in the past week or so, it has jumped dramatically! When I bought it it was #7 on Amazon, and the last I checked, it was #16, so I hope that makes a difference. I can't wait to get it in the mail!
ETA: I loved the scene where Ephram and Andy talked before he proposed. And that line about the bachelor party, "There's a lot of pressure" as he walked into the closet made me laugh so much. :p

Is anyone watching the reruns? What season are they showing right now? What's happening?
I am! I never saw season 1, so watching the ABC reruns has been great for me - so many things have been cleared up for me. For instance, I thought Colin died pretty early in the show. I never knew he had a recurring role the first season and that he and Ephram were friends! That was amazing for me! It was also great to learn about why Dr. Abbott has such a hatred for Dr. Brown. I learned that they did either med school or residence in the same hospital and that Dr. Brown outshined Dr. Abbott (or something to that effect).
Currently, Dr. Brown and Linda are getting to know one another and Madison was just hired to watch Delia. Amy is still depressed about Colin, and Colin's sister is still on the show.
