For you who are computer literate and know about Adobe Acrobat...
My son has a schedule template that I would like to save and type his schedule into it. Is there a way to do this? The only format I was able to save the file in was as a .PDF. I was thinking possibly opening it in Microsoft Publisher and just creating text boxes over the PDF image, but is there a way to just do it in the PDF document?
Thanks for any help!!

I am not an expert, but I have been able to type on .pdf documents by using the "Touch Up Text" tool, which looks like a clear "T" with a black outline and is on the Editing toolbar. This works for me sometimes, but sometimes it doesn't - I think it has to do with the way the document is saved.
I hope that helps, and maybe someone else will know for sure!

Unless you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat - not the Acrobat reader, but the actual .pdf creation software, you cannot create a form from a .pdf document. You can download a fully functional 30 day demo from http://www.adobe.com which will allow you to do it. But it will expire in 30 days and after that it's around $300 or so to purchase the full version.

emmjay - couldn't find a 'touch-up' tool on my screen. Thanks for trying!!
KarenS - I'm now installing the 30 day version of Adobe. Thanks. Hopefully I'll be able to do what I want to do. If only I had my old handy dandy typewriter still... but it crapped out on me a couple years ago!!

Glad I could help! :) I have been cobbling along with the 4.0 version for years and I finally had to upgrade this year because 4.0 wasn't compatible with XP Pro. Bleah. Stupid software upgrades! :)
