When Tom Cruise was a guest on the Oprah show a few months back and declared his love for Katie Holmes, the world was pretty much disgusted at his behavior. He kept shouting how he loved this woman and he jumped up on the couch and did a little dance. Well, when asked about this spectacle of love...Oprah, just like us, didn't believe a damn of it!

I don't think it was ever public knowledge that they officially broke up. Everyone knew they were engaged -- and then all of a sudden, this whole thing with Tom as her mainsqueeze surfaced out of nowhere, kind of like a zit.

When they announced she was pregnant, they said she was about 3 months along, so she'd be 4 or 5 months now, but that looks like she's farther along than that (especially when you consider she's so tall).
My prediction is that sometime in the next week, we'll be getting some news about Tom and Katie (since War of the Worlds comes out on the 22nd).

PREGNANT actress Katie Holmes is so thrilled with her impending role as a Hollywood yummy mummy she wants to take it on full-time.

The 26-year-old mum-to-be has reportedly decided to ditch her acting career in favour of being a stay-at-home mum.
The Batman Begins star - who once swore she would stay a virgin until she married - says she wants her next starring role to be based in the kitchen, UK tabloid The Sun has reported.

Back in April, when the power pair first hooked up, the media dismissed the surprise love match as a publicity stunt; both Holmes and Cruise had blockbusters due for release.

"It's amusing at first. It's funny. But then you sit back and realise how sad it is that there are people who can't even imagine feeling like this," Cruise said at the time.

"But my friends are happy for me. The people who know me are happy. My mum is happy. My family is happy."

But this latest development would seem to contradict that theory - unless pundits decide the revelation is just part of a cunning plan to boost Holmes's cachet as a Tinseltown leading lady.

The impending birth is one of the few shining moments to cap off an otherwise forgettable year for Cruise.

Earlier this month he sacked his publicist sister, Lee Anne DeVette, after the previously tight-lipped actor's increasingly erratic statements about Scientology became the butt of media jokes.

Back in May, Cruise was ridiculed after he appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show and jumped on Winfrey's couch declaring his love for Holmes.

Perhaps Holmes has decided all her future hubby needs is some old-fashioned home cooking and a woman about the house.

I was thinking about this earlier and I came up with a theory. Remember how there were rumours that Katie had signed a 5 year contract to be with Tom Cruise. Well, what if it's true, and in 5 years, she's been out of the spotlight, but they separate, she would probably get huge publicity. She'll talk about how naive she was, blah, blah, blah...and movie offers start rolling in (she'd only be in her early 30's). So there ya go, my crazy theory.

Almost the only pics we see of TomKat as of late are on the soccer field. Since the paparazzi follow her to the soccer field i would think they would snap her on the street, shopping or eating out...but we don't see any other candids of her. First let me preface my comments by saying IF she really has had a REAL miscarriage, than I am deeply sorry for her.

That episode was HILARIOUS!! About the 10th time they said "Tom Cruise, please come out of the closet!" I completely lost it and was just laughing hysterically. And then when John Travolta gets in there with him... brilliant. Nicole Kidman eventually shows up and starts begging Tom to come out of the closet, telling him "it's time." And the whole episode just rips on Scientology and the whole alien thing. It was totally genius!

There are plenty of decaffeinated choices available at coffee shops. And, caffeine is not completely dangerous for pregnant women - if enjoyed in moderation, a pregnant woman can still enjoy her morning cup of coffee.

Sadly, it is this kind of misinformation that made me feel completely self-conscious when stopping at Second Cup on my way to work this past summer while visibly pregnant. Whether I was having my single cup of coffee for the day, or ordering a decaf beverage, I couldn't help but wonder who was looking at me and questioning my actions.

We're not quite sure what's allowable in courtrooms these days, but Tom Cruise is ready to "prove in court" that he is not gay.

In arguably the most direct attempt yet to stamp out rumors about his sexual orientation, Cruise filed a $100 million defamation lawsuit Wednesday against a gay porn star, who allegedly claimed in tabloid reports that he had an affair with the actor.

The complaint, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, claims Chad Slater (an "erotic wrestler" who also goes by the name Kyle Bradford) "concocted and spread the completely false story that he had a continuing homosexual affair with Tom Cruise and that this affair was discovered by Mr. Cruise's wife, leading to their divorce."

According to the suit, Cruise "had no relationship of any kind with Kyle Bradford and does not even know him." But Bradford allegedly told international magazine Actustar that he had an ongoing affair with Cruise, and that Nicole Kidman walked in on them during a "romantic encounter," prompting the couple to split up. The story was translated and later repeated in the Spanish-language magazine TVyNovelas.

"It is absolutely 100 percent false," Cruise's attorney, Bert Fields, tells E! Online. "[Cruise] is a great respecter of homosexual rights, but he's not gay, and he's ready to prove this in court. Tom is tired of it and it hurts his children. It's something that will be there forever. And damn it, he's going to stop it."

Bradford, whose film credits include The Cockpit Club and Forced to Submit, is apparently known in the U.S. "for his porn movies where he likes to climb into a ring and have encounters with his partners," according the Actustar article. The skin-flick thespian claimed to Actustar that he received a phone call while in Paris "from a Tom Finigham, who proposed to have a private encounter, specifically in a ring." Bradford apparently claimed in the article that it was actually Cruise, and that they had an ongoing affair.

Bradford, however, denies the allegations. In a statement, he says, "Regarding the news everyone has been reading...I have never been to France, I have never spoken with Actustar Magazine, and have never said any of the statements allegedly said by me. The things being reported internationally are totally untrue and very hurtful to all parties."

Meanwhile, Fields says Actustar has since published a retraction of the story. But Cruise is now prepared to target any other publications--domestic or foreign--that reprint the tale.

"He's going to sue anybody who repeats this story, even as a rumor," Fields said. He added that Cruise is willing to take the case as far as necessary. "We're very anxious to hear what this porn actor says under oath about this garbage story he's handing out."

By Wednesday afternoon, Bradford's personal Website was shut down. "Due to uncontrollable circumstances, kylebradford.com will be unavailable for a while," the site reads.

Over the years, Cruise's bedroom habits have been a matter of intense speculation for the tabloids. But the 38-year-old star has grown increasingly vigilant about taking on rumor-mongers. In 1997, Kidman told Ladies' Home Journal that she and her husband would take the offensive on reports claiming their marriage was a sham. "[W]e are going to sue over it," she said. "It gets to a point where you have to protect your children."

The couple also successfully sued the Star supermarket tabloid in 1999, after it published a story claiming Cruise and Kidman needed a sex coach for their steamy scenes in Stanley Kubrick's film, Eyes Wide Shut. The lawsuit was later settled, with the Star issuing a full retraction and making an unspecified donation to a charity of Cruise and Kidman's choice.

Katie Holmes has revealed the sex of her child after being spotted buying up big on blue baby clothes in LA recently.

I guess I am in the minority, but as a woman who just had a baby, I personally wish I had the means to monitor my child at will. I was pretty paranoid (I am like that in general.....constant worrier) and I seriously was paranoid all the time about my baby's health. I got one of those fetal heart monitors so that I could monitor her heartbeat. Had I had his money, I would have done the same. I guess that makes me a freak -- but I know I am not alone. Now if my husband had been the person to push the issue, THAT would have been weird. But in our case, it was me.

Officials at the American College of Radiology (ACR) are highly concerned by Cruise's revelation that he purchased the device to track his child's progress, and they're warning him that he could be breaking the law if he's carrying out the scans himself. Dr. Carol M. Rumack, of the ACR Ultrasound Commission, says, "This is a patient safety issue. Untrained people, even if they have the financial means, should not buy, or be allowed to buy and operate, ultrasound machines which are, in fact, medical devices and should not be used without a medical indication. Images of the fetus are an opportunity to diagnose problems before birth that may require treatment. These images should be obtained by certified technologists under the supervision of physicians properly trained in ultrasound... The ACR is concerned that Tom Cruise has been badly advised regarding the use and potential abuse of ultrasound. There are many abnormalities that may be missed by the untrained eye. Also, if it is not medically necessary, the use of ultrasound raises unnecessary physical risk to the fetus."

Add Claire Danes to the list of celebs who have taken Brooke Shields’ side in her war of words with Tom Cruise. Danes has risked the wrath of devout Scientologist Cruise by defending people such as Shields who use anti-depressants.

In what some saw as a thinly veiled jab at Cruise for his attacks on those who use the drugs, the “Shopgirl” star said that she “keeps her pointer finger in her pocket because I never know why people make the choices they do.”

It's the most hotly-awaited flick of 2006 -- and ET's own JANN CARL was on the Shanghai set of the new installment of the blockbuster TOM CRUISE franchise, 'Mission: Impossible 3,' to learn all about the secretive sequel.

Spectacular stunts aside, Jann talked to Tom about other hot topics -- like his upcoming wedding to KATIE HOLMES and their baby news!

Tom revealed that he had already started using a sonogram he purchased to monitor the baby's progress: "I went out and bought my own sonogram machine ... you just read the instructions -- and see the baby dancing around! It is extraordinary -- I saw the baby posing (he joked)."

Tom also said when that special day comes, he will be in the delivery room supporting Kate every way he can. "I am going to be recording, holding hands -- whatever it takes to make it comfortable, safe and as beautiful as possible (for her). I can't wait."

As for any wedding updates -- the happy groom-to-be said they are still on target to wed next summer or fall, and that the most important thing for their union was being surrounded by family: "I just want it to be a celebration of love and our relationship."

Barbara did ask him about the silent birth and he laughed. He said the idea is for the room to remain calm and the "crew" to be as quiet as possible, but there were no rules that the mother couldn't do whatever she needed to do to get through labor. Including screaming :)

Cruise told Barbara Walters last week that he'd bought his own sonogram so he and Katie Holmes could watch their baby growing inside her belly.

Early on I was very skeptical she was even pg and I thought maybe she was wearing a fake belly, but after a while I figured I should deal with the awful truth she was actually pg, regardless of how or by whom, but now all my old doubts are creeping back again. A neighbor of mine has a friend who is pg. We were at a gathering one evening and she was saying to us (the pg gal) how she appears to grow bigger as the day wears on. She wouldn't look very pg in the morning but towards the evening, she totally looks pg.

Tom in Trouble with NYC Firefighters

Tom Cruise has been slammed by firefighters injured in the 9/ll attacks -
for suggesting they use Scientology to heal themselves.

The actor has reportedly urged people suffering the effects of smoke
inhalation from the terrorist attacks to quit using their medication and
inhalers - and start drinking cooking oil.

The "purification" programme also advises people to take large doses of
niacin and indulge in plenty of saunas.

However doctors have reportedly dismissed the treatment as "quackery".

He also claimed the department's deputy chief medical officer Dr David Prezant is against the treatment.
