View Full Version : Seriously, how hard can it be to send the right item?

I ordered envelopes from a company. We'll call them "Yellow Rose Art Stamps." I ordered 60 A7 brillant ivory envelopes. I received 60 A6 brillant ivory envelopes. I was thrilled at the colour, so displeased at the size so I called the merchant. She agreed to resend the item, but told me it wasn't worth it for me to return it (they pay for return shipping). I still hadn't gotten the item in a week so I called again. She sent the item again. Today I received 59 A7 nasty coloured envelopes. I call the company again (third time if you're keeping track) and she stated that the dye lots must be different. That different, seriously?! I mean, to go from off-white to this weird pale yellow-greenish shade that reminds me of "pale puke"??? I also pointed out that I was short one envelope. She insists that I couldn't be, she filled the order herself. Um, okay, you know, even though I counted it three times and had someone count I'm probably just lying. I do tend to do that sometimes.

Not to mention that they don't pack anything well so both (wrong) orders I have received now have had slight bent corners on every single envelope.

I'm a nice person. I'm not bride-zilla. I don't cry or scream...usually. I started crying today while on the phone with the credit card company.

Why can't Yellow Rose just freaking send me 60 A7 brillant ivory envelopes?!

Just breathe Larissa... it will be ok! ;) I understand how you feel- it can be so frustrating when you are dealing with non-local companies.

It sounds like you are getting your money refunded through your credit card company, right?

Have you looked at envelopemall.com? They have a great selection, and their people are very nice and competent!
