My recipe is featured in this cookbook

As many of you know, I am a three time cancer survivor. One of the local newscasters here in Tampa Bay produced a cookbook called A Toast to Family and Friends; Recipes that Celebrate Life. I submitted a Minestrone recipe that can be made in the crock pot. Going through chemo you sometimes don't want to eat much, but soup can be soothing. Plus the veggies in it and the beans are good for you. :) So I just wanted to share the site:

LOL you can hardly see it, but there is an inset with a piece of paper that has a border of pictures. My picture is the fourth one down on the right.

This is great Heather! My MIL is a cancer survivor and I am going to buy this for her. :)

For those of you that ordered it already, did you print off the order form and send a check or did you call and place an order. I have tried a couple of times to call the number listed on the web page and I have only gotten through to voice mail.

ETA: Nevermind. I am such a dork. Apparently Florida is on a different time zone then I am. :o I now have ordered the book and cannot wait to get it!

I received the cookbook in the mail today. Heather, your recipe looks great and so do a lot of others. I ordered it for a gift for my MIL, but I think I am going to order a second for myself.

BTW, you look very cute in your picture too!! :)
