Kristen and I want flutes, not for the wedding, just to buy to have for special occassions. We don't want to spend a ton of money and are looking for ideas.
Please post your flutes - wedding ones or not!! Thanks :)
My current faves:
Tiffany & Co from the Classic Wine Collection- nevermind that I can't even afford to walk in that store ;)

Tiffany & Co Trumpet (I think I like these better)

we used a special gift from my great uncle for our toast. they were toasting goblets from waterford. they don't have them on the website anymore, but i thought these were pretty.

Seahorse Saucer Champagnes, Pair - Waterford
The seahorse has been recognized around the world as the mark of authentic Waterford Crystal, for more than a decade. In this piece, the finely detailed cut pattern is brilliantly displayed yet again.

We had these from Waterford and had them engraved with our names and the date.

Two is always better than one, especially when admiring this pair of handsome toasting flutes. A pair of swans that form a heart capture the glow and depth of the love that will grow over the years.

These are ours, we have a set and we used two for the wedding. Our jeweler found someone to engrave our names and wedding date along the bottom--it turned out really good! FYI, these are sold in pairs and we acutally found them at Sams, and bought them out (they only had 2 pairs) since it was such a good deal, like 30% off which is unheard of for Waterford.
Lismore Toasting Flutes:http://www.waterford.com/images/product_product/1076080000md.jpg
Waterford also sells these with a monogram around the top.

Mine are Waterford's Lismore, too--exactly like Tanya's.
I love them because they are so heavy and elegant!

they are by william yeoward, and they had stars etched all over them.
have you looked on eBay for the Tiffany ones?

Oh, I watch ebay like a hawk!! The trumpet ones were on about 3 months ago, but there were 8 or 10 of them and they went for more than I was willing to pay. The regular ones always go so high by the time shipping is included that I might as well go to the actual Tiffany store and get the experience as well ;)

We bought our toasting flutes from the Mikasa outlet store near our house. They were not very expensive, plus we got them on sale. Here they are:

Ours are Lenox Encore Platinum (I couldn't find a good picture) but I found these and they look like the first picture you posted (please disregard the glass on the left - the only picture I could find shows both and I'm posting the picture for the flute on the right):

At www.hechts.com, they are $49 for 4.
These are on ebay closing in 2 days and are currently at $15.50:

We are very happy with our Riedel Vinum

BTW.... goblets (posted further above) are very pretty, but I would not use them for champagne, they will make it go flat.

Larissa - I can't see the picture you posted. Also, I clarified my post to show that I meant for you to view the flute on the right of the picture, not the goblet on the left - but it was the only picture I could find.

These were our toasting flutes. They went with our Celtic theme. We also had a dragon cake toppers where 2 dragons intertwined and formed a heart.

princessbutrcup- I'm so jealous. I have loved those flutes for so long, but can't see spending that much money on them. The whole top of my dress is swarovski crystals, so they would be perfect. You're so lucky!

We were lucky! MIL's friend works for Swarovski & bought them with her employee discount. Your dress sounds lovely!

We got ours at the clearance table at Mikasa - we also bought the rest of the whole stemware set (red, white, and champage glasses) to match it. :)
I spent $1 a stem, and had these two engraved - mine said "Jennifer & James, December 19, 2004" and his said "James & Jennifer...."
