I'm hosting a bridal shower tomorrow and will be serving "Wedding Cake" (vanilla vodka, sweet & sour, pineapple juice, sugar). The recipe is measured out for each drink made individually, but I won't have time to tend bar at the shower. Would it be bad to make a pitcher ahead of time (like an hour or so before guests arrive)? I'm not exactly a mixed drinks expert and didn't know if that would mess it up somehow.

I don't see how you could mess the drink up. For our housewarming, I made a vodka punch (similar to your drink above) in a spouted cooler thing a few hrs beforehand, and served it with ice on the side. I also made a margarita punch ahead of time and served it with sprite & ice on the side, so it wouldn't lose the fizz.
