I just bought this book from Amazon...DH and I won't be trying TTC for awhile, but in the meantime I wanted to educate myself on the factors and charting.

I have endometriosis, and like my mother, most likely will have a harder timer TTC. I am 28, and would like to have two children by age 35.

I just started reading this book, and wanted to put it out there...It was recommended to me by a fellow WC'er who is TTC, and the book is quite good.

I agree....TCOYF is a fabulous book. I was always one of those women who had no clue about my body and just took BCP b/c it was easy. I never realized how many "issues" I had were due to BCP. Going off BCP and charting, even before we were TTC, was the most empowering journey ever. Not to mention, charting for a few months helped me and my dr identify a hormone deficiency that I have, which would have prevented me from staying pregnant. I owe all of my new-found knowledge to TCOYF and to all of the WC/CC women who answered all of my (many) questions....but I can definitely say that I will "spread the gospel" about TCOYF and NEVER go on BCP again. :D

Definitely a great book! I've found it really helpful in explaining charting to others, and it's the holy grail of the TTA thread :).

I really wished that this book was handed out either in High School or College to all females at least. It would have great to have it in a sex-ed class, but I could see the potential problems for parents though. It's sad that I didn't learn these things about my body until I was TTC at 36!

I think I learned about it on the *other* site ;) , and it has been such a great asset to me in helping me to learn about my body and TTC. I even gave it to a friend for her birthday.

I completely agree with you queen, and plan on teaching my future girl(s) (hopefully I'll have one) all about charting.

TCOYF is a very informative book, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is TTC or TTA or just wants to learn more about their body!

ITA with everyone! A very, very enlightening book! I was intimidated by the size of it, but I was so intrigued by it, I finished it in one weekend.
