Here are a couple of my favorites so far...I mean come on, we've got 2 years ;)

Okay those are it for now...I've got a lot more, but I'll just save them for my post. I'm really becoming a fan of box pleats or something in the front. Originally I wanted just a smooth, clean lines type front, but I'm really starting to see the "princess-ness" of box pleats.

Yay, Jen, you made it! I love Mary's bridal. Have you tried box pleats on yet? I like the way they look in pictures, but hate the way they look on me. I hope they look fabulous on you!

Well I'll just keep my fingers crossed that the box pleats look good on me. *gasp*I haven't tried on any dresses yet  I would like to go an at least look sometime soon, but I want my sister (MOH) to come with and since I haven't asked her yet, that would kind of be weird. Unless I could try to find a way to ask her while we're looking at dresses *sigh* I'm trying to please everyone too much again
Anyways, do you know if we just "allowed" to make a journal in here or are they going to set them up? I was lurking in another post and someone said they might be setting them up soon. Who knows
I'm glad I made it over here too...it's almost exactly like that other one :)

I am pretty sure they will be setting up a journal section, hopefully sometime soon. I'm just going to wait till i find a forum named "journals"....lol

I'm not sure how to post a picture here but....
I found my dream gown from Demetrios Bridal, Young Sophisticates collection.
It's the 2004 collection style 2671.
http://www.demetriosbride.com/us/index.php?page=collection_young_04
Problem is, they sent my dress shop a size 14 and it is HUGE on me. I knew I didn't need more than a 12, and even that was pushing it. I'm wondering if it will ever fit me.....we even paid extra to have the dress cut to my proportions because i'm petite, and I feel like they just took a 14 off the rack and sent it. So annoying. Has this happened to anyone else? I won't have to go for a fitting until at least September so I won't know for awhile whether it will fit....and I'm smaller now than I was last time I tried it on, because i've been working out. I really should have gotten a size 10 and then just worked out a bit and it would have fit. I feel like I want to send it back!!!!

Yes, that's the dress! I love it so much. I remember when I first tried it on (in the right size) I fell in love with it instantly, and I knew it was the one. I had pulled a picture of it out of a magazine almost a year earlier, but didn't know if I would ever find it in a store! I hope the seamstress can make my size 14 look like that!!!
Thanks for posting it for me!

Hey everyone!
I saw this thread and I had to respond! I'm so jazzed--I bought my dress last night!
I have no idea- but it wont let me post the pictures, so I'll have to describe it to you.
It's a satin A-Line empire waist dress that rouches off to one side. It's white, and the top of the empire waist is made with Swarovski Crystals. It's got a very simple chapel length train.
Can't wait!!
Those are beautiful dresses ladies!! Thanks for posting them!! :)

this was my fav dress too, my number 1 choice for trying on. I loved the cap sleeves...but once I finally tried it on, I realized that the beading and embroidery on the mesh caps sleeves made me sooooo itchy and I broke out in a red rash! SO sad, I loved that dress :(

Awww...I'm sorry the cap sleeves didn't work. Thank you for pointing out the sleeves...I've got sensitive skin too:( Oh well, I'll just see when I get there;)

My every dream come true:
http://a1000.g.akamaitech.net/f/1000/806/12h/images.theknot.com/GownDesigners/moniquelhuillier/mlhuf03escam.jpg
Too bad it's from 3 years ago and cost $3,000!! I wanted to have it remade for my gown, but I was afraid that the dress-maker wouldn't be able to get the back low enough for me so I just went out and bought a dress.
I'm not sure what the front looks like, but I think it should look similar to this:

In February 2001, In Style Weddings published a photograph of an Ulla-Maija couture gown called "Whirlwind." It retailed for over $4000. Even though it was completely out of my price range I adored it and cut it out to put in my "Wedding Ideas" book. Later that month I met my future DH online.
In March of 2003, after DH and I had been dating for almost 2 years, I was searching around on Ebay and found my dream gown. The gown from my Wedding Ideas book. It was 1 size too small but I bid on it anyway, hoping that we'd eventually marry. We got engaged that night.
I won the bid a week later and got my $4000 dress for $825. I dieted and had it altered so it fit.
Here I am in my dream gown:

Moral of my story: Don't give up hope on your dream gown...it can happen!

Jessie- they are both Monique Lhuillier...from three years ago. I have no clue if the *no* back even looks good on me because I couldn't bear to try it on and then not be able to afford it. The top dress is escape, and the bottom one barbie (snicker). If you happen to find one in a size 6/8 let me know, huh??

I always loved the idea of a gold gown, like the one you posted, although I did not go with one.
That one is beautiful! :D
