My wedding colors are red, ivory and silver. Ivory because that's what color my dress is. I'm planning on using ivory linens and was wondering if it will look odd with the white chairs? I have the choice of white, natural (slightly darker than pine) or black chairs.
My centerpieces are going to be a mix of red and ivory roses with red berries. I'm also thinking about using a red table runner if that makes any difference in the colors being next to each other. I think it will be OK but wonder what anyone else thinks.

I think that I would stay away from white chairs- the ivory might look "dirty" next to them. How about the pine? Those sound pretty! :)

My wedding colors were pink, ivory and silver. I used two different chair colors: white around the large tables- and a pine colored barstool around the bar height tables (we had bar height tables around the dance floor.) The white was fine. I had ivory holders for my centerpieces- and you could NOT tell. I know that isn't the same as an ivory linen right next to the white chair- but I still don't think it will be a big deal. I will say- the wood color added some nice depth to the pictures. If I was placing votes for your venue (I've been lurking in your journal again ;) ) I would probably vote for the wood color.
Hope that helps.

I actually think the black might look really good with those colors. Your wedding colors are so vibrant, and they would really pop on the black background.

I would choose the black, too. I think that would look great with all your other colors. :)

I think black would look the best as well...

Black sounds great! My colors were red, white, silver and black. Black chairs sound great with the centerpieces you described.
