"The Mountain Climber" on The Price Is Right!

I LOVE to watch The Mountain Climber on "The Price Is Right"! Even when I was a kid--I loved it! I loved to watch him go over then and I still love to see him go over now! I clap in time to the music and cheer when he goes over!

Does anyone else do this--or am I alone in this? :p

I love that game! That, and Plinko, were always my favorites. Though, Mountain climber had yodeling, so I think that wins. :)

Mountain Climber is great and now I have that song in my head. They have a slot machine game with MC on it in Vegas - a lot of fun to play!

I'm a fan too! We were lucky enough to see this game in person when we went to see TPIR taped. Plinko is my all-time favorite... but The Mountain Climber is a close second - I think it's the yodeling! :)

I love Price is Right. I am bummed now since I had to go back to teaching because I miss PIR. I love the yodeler. I yodel along!!! :D

LOL-- that's totally my favorite!

I'm a PIR junky too! Everyone makes fun of me because the only thing in my life that i'd regret (thus far) is NOT making it to TPIR with Bob Barker (really there would be no PIR without him). Needless to say i've been doing what i can to make arrangements to get out there (i live on the East coast) and see the show (with no luck yet)!

TOO Funny- i always tell people that's that game i'd want to play! :D

I rarely get to watch it now but have seen it a few times recently & I thought they did away with the Mountain Climber (haven't seen it played in years).

I do LOVE Plinko though...I would die if I could play that!

a couple of weeks ago one of the casinos in town had a huge PIR promo. They brought the Plinko board and people came out to sign up to play and they drew your name and did the whole "come on down." They drew my name and I was in Plinko heaven!!! It was the actual board just one that is not used any more. At the bottom they put in pizes where the dollar amount is, and my chip landed on a free night at the casino;s hotel. I really really wanted to take the plinko chip home with me!! :)

It seems like they don't do the Mountain Climber as often as some of the others. I don't watch PIR regularly, but I used to. I LOVE to see the guy go over so much that my Grandma will call me when he's on! :D That's how I find out and watch it! He went over the other day--on the 2nd item!!!! :D

I've always said that we'll go out there one day and I'll not only make it down to Contestant's Row, but onto a prize game and I'll get the Mountain Climber. And, of course, he'll go over because I've rooted for him to go over since I can remember! :p

Just thought I would bump up the PIR thread to let everyone know that June 15th will be Bob's last show. No one will be able to replace Bob.

My friend was on the Price is Right, and she was the first person ever in the history of the show to lose on the first try in that game. It was pretty funny. ;) :)

A guy who is a student at Purdue (where I work) was on today's show. He won like $12,000 playing Plinko. Pretty cool!

My IL's were on vacation in LA yesterday and MIL wanted to go into the Price is Right gift shop. While they were in there an employee came up to them and asked if they wanted to go to the show because they were 4 people short of having a full audience. I was really suprised that it wasn't full since it was the day before the last taping.

I hope that on Bob's last day they do all their best games. The yodeler, Plinko, and that game where the contestant had to run around to switch the prices (I don't know why but that's always been one of my top 3 favorite games).

I just read that they are airing the last show in the morning during it's usual time, but also in primetime at 8pm ET next Fri 6/15.
