Hi eveyone!! I am originally from Rio Grande Valley...way down south. But
before moving up here to Maryland i was last living in San Antonio, Tx...which i miss dearly!! Anyone from there?

Hi sophiadp...OMG! My sister and her family live in Edinburg. Gosh I haven't visited this thread in a while because no one ever wrote in it. I figured no one was from that area..*laughs*...

I know! Nobody knows where I am! When I say south Texas, they think I mean San Antonio, and I say, no, further south. ;)


Yeah!! I know what you mean!! And when they ask, where further south? And i give them an answer....they are like...hmmm i've never heard of that. LOL.

I know the Valley and have been there often. I have friends in Brownsville and McAllen.

I know the Valley too! I have family in Lyford and friends in McAllen, Ramondville, Harlingen and Laredo.

I am from Corpus Christi and know where the valley is. I used to miss living there but am glad to be in Northeast Texas

I know where the Valley is. (o: I'm from Del Rio, and everyone always thinks it's in the valley. They also think it's exotic to be from a border town. HA! ;)
