Who we are:

We are a group of women who for one reason or another want to shed a few (or more) lbs. We need the encouragement of others no matter their size or goal and we thrive in an atmosphere where we can all support one another.

Okay everyone, the holidays are over! Time to get back to business. Whether it is losing the weight you gained over the holidays, getting back to losing after maintaining for the holidays, keeping on losing (god bless those who can do this!), or just realizing that bathing suit season really is not that far away! Let's hope the next 3 challenges up to Memorial Day are as successful as they were last year.

I weighed in this morning... ugh. Not pretty, but I did have a ton of salty food this weekend and little to no water (lots of soda). I felt so wonderful this morning. :(

I'm in for the challenge! When I had DS#2 I couldn't lose those last 15 pounds, and then managed to give up and gain a bit more. I am SERIOUS about losing the weight as I have started to have small pains in my knees, my clothes don't fit well, and feel out of shape in general.

I have a new challenge goal in the short term because I'm 6+ weeks pregnant. I've had six miscarriages and am almost 43 so I don't have a lot of hope that this one will stick but until I miscarry again the plan is to simply try to maintain my weight.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes! Somehow I lost the weight I put on last week although I'm eating constantly to keep the nausea at bay. Not exactly sure how that happened, especially since my exercise routine these days consists of only going for a walk once in a while. :confused:

I guess I'm happy that overall I've lost, even if its less than half a pound :rolleyes:. I've been so perfect about working out. Food is more of a struggle, as always. I do my measurement check in next Monday so it will be really interesting to see if there is a change there.

LRL yes, I'm lifting weights 3x a week. I'm using ChaLean Extreme for weights and running for cardio. I just finished the first phase of CE. I hope I see equally good results after this next phase!

I met my goal! :D I'm very pleased with how things are going. And what's even more exciting, is my clothes are fitting better. I pulled my workout pants from the dryer yesterday and they were baggy (and they normally aren't). I can't wait to see how this will continue to go. I know it will be inch by inch and pound by pound. :D :D :D

I'm happy with this! My overall goal is to gain as little as possible while still maintaining a healthy pgcy. I'm ending this challenge being 1 pound up and approaching my 3rd trimester. By this point in my other two I was around 5 pounds up.

I'm so happy to be back in the 160's.... I am definitely going to join the next challenge. I found that what helped the most was tracking everything I put in my mouth. I am using myfitnesspal.com for this, and it has helped immensely. If I have to write it down, I want to see that it didn't cost me all my calories for the day!!!

We had our Valentine's day weekend (eating out on Saturday and then Steak-ums last night; DH and I both love them, but they are sooooo bad for us) so it was a small weight loss week. But, it was a loss. :) On to the next challenge!
