Here is a pic of 1 of the 3 I have:p I got this one for a shower gift and absolutely LOVE IT! It was bought at a wedding shop for around $15, and it came with a sixpense to put in the pocket!!!!!!!!!!

The other I got was a gift from my Grandma which has been passed on from other relatives, and also one I bought off of ebay. DEF check ebay, they have SUCH great deals like this one...

It is fashioned entirely of one single piece of the finest whisper-soft silk charmeuse; the bow is not glued or sewn on... it is actually hand-tied from the one piece of silk used to make the garter.

I actually ordered the same one as Heather!! :) (The one in the pic with the monogram) I can't wait until it gets here!!! I justified how expensive it was on the fact that I want my future daughter to wear it at her wedding....if I have a daughter! lol

I got mine from Ebay, and it came out great. I don't have a pic of the actual one that I wore, but here's the Ebay picture. It had our names embroidered in blue.

I don't have a pic of mine but the one I wore throughout the day was a lacey one my mom made with a small blue ribbon on it. The one she made for me for my DH to toss was made out of fabric that had red tractors all over it (Tim's favorite tractors-he's a farmer). The person who caught it got a kick out of it and Tim didn't want to throw it. Mom made a spare one just for us though.:p

My aunt made mine. My BM dresses were blue, so she took the extra fabric from her DD's dress (a FG) to make a blue center. She then got ahold of my seamstress and got some of the fabric from my dress to make the bulk of the garter. She added some lace and an engraved heart charm with our names and date on it.

I didn't throw that garter; my sister bought me a cheap-y and I threw that.

I bought mine from a seller on eBay who makes garters. She customized the colors for me & emailed me a photo to approve before she sent it to me (this was great because I had her change one of the ribbons to a different type of ribbon). It was also very inexpensive - I can't remember for sure now, but I think I paid about $10.
