I put "book club" in quotes b/c I have no doubt that it will turn into something a social group as well - so a book club / social group mix. I've never done this before (never even attended one) but we thought it might be nice to start one up in our neighborhood. Good way to meet new neighbors / get to know people, do some reading - and none of us will have to travel very far (a good thing when you typically work till 7 at night and for the new moms in our group)

Anyway - does anybody have any hints, tips or advice they would like to share? Advice on how to start the group? How to run the group? How to choose books?

Also, how many people is a good amount? I know sometimes you can have too many - but it's nice to have enough that you have people even if some can't make it.

So - interested in any thoughts, comments or advice - thanks! :)

We talked about this about a month ago, I believe. This thread (http://www.constantchatter.com/showthread.php?t=3752) has some input that might help you out. Good luck figuring out what works best for you and your neighbors!

Thanks - I thought there might have been one but did not see it when I looked back in the threads.

Thanks!
