View Full Version : How "out" are black leather trousers?
I was going through my winter wardrobe, and I found a pair of black leather boot cut trouser-style pants that I have had for several years. I used to pair them with something simple like a chunky t-neck sweater and black boots.
Should I keep them in the back of the closet?? Get rid of them? Wear them?

I don't know how "in" or "out" they are right now, but I definitely wouldn't get rid of them. I had a pair of fake leather pants (seriously, no one could tell they weren't real) for several years. I loved them. Then, after realizing baby #2 had changed my body forever and I most likely would never fit in them again, I gave them away. AND NOW I SO REGRET IT. Almost 3 years later and I probably could fit back in them (who knew it would take 3 years?). And I don't know if I would wear them now, but I wish I still had them 'in case'. I know the rule is 'if you haven't worn it in a year, get rid of it', but I don't think that rule applies to items like leather trousers ;).
