We are a group of women who for one reason or another want to shed a few (or more) lbs. We need the encouragement of others no matter their size or goal and we thrive in an atmosphere where we can all support one another.

We welcome one and all. It doesn't matter what diet you are on (if any) or how many miles a week you run (if any) we will all find lots of help and support here.

Okay - trying to start AGAIN! I was on the right track for a while - but seriously, my whole family has been sick or injured since 7/22 which has proven quite stressful. But my 40th birthday is now 49 weeks ago. The baby is almost 6 months old. Time to get cracking!

i wanted to join in & be held accountable to lose the last 10 lbs of this baby weight + another 10 to get to a weight that's healthier for me. i'm almost 5 mos PP and have had milk supply issues in the past, so i want to make sure to lose the weight slowly and not do anything to negatively impact my supply.

Ugh!! Three things happened this week that I think contributed: 1. Week 2 since making a major change (BL fans understand this one); 2. I am sick; and 3. Saturday was the town's fall festival. Back on the wagon as soon as I start feeling better! Hopefully thta's soon.

What motivates you to lose weight?
My motivation, aside from wanting to be healthy and all that standard jazz is that I want to feel comfortable and cute in my clothes. I want to be able to see myself in the mirror and not cringe. I want people to compliment me and actually mean it. That's what keeps me going :)

I'm thinking week 4 must have been lingering effects of the ham I had 3 days prior to WI. Glad it came off this week, plus some!
QOTD I want to be able to run and play with my daughter as she grows up, instead of sitting and watching her play from the sidelines. Also I want to be able to buy flattering clothes in a regular store, instead of the "old lady" clothes in the plus size section of walmart or shopko.
