I will be surprising DH with a round of golf at Whistling Straits (where the PGA Championship will be next year). While he's not playing the Straits (WAY too much money), he's playing the Irish which is at the same course, but different holes.
I have a package deal where his green fees and a caddie are included in the price. The tip, however, is not.
The greens fees are $165 and the normal caddie fee is $60.
How much of a tip would be appropriate? I'm assuming the caddie will help with the normal caddie "stuff" (i.e. what club to use and all) and while DH loves to golf, he's not been in several years so he will probably need more help than the average bear.
His golf partner is our FBIL who plays every weekend and has a good handicap. Not that this matters terribly much for the caddie tip, but it might.
I'd like to have cash for DH to tip the caddie with - how much would be appropriate?
