The right side of this room was all French doors which open up onto a patio. We couldn't fit all of our guests into the actual room, so we had all of the doors opened and the tables placed just outside the doors. The tables outside had the same centerpieces.

Sadlt our centerpieces sucked. After the wedding I was so mad because I had specifically told our florist I did not want FTD like flowers and that's exactly what she gave us. Plus they were too small for the table and we payed a bit over $100.00 per so we felt robbed.

Whenever I see this picture (although it's a ver romantic shot of me and my sweetie) I get pissed.

I knew I wanted candles instead of flowers. I found a 3-piece candle set for $10 each at Target (and promptly bought out 3 stores' worth), and bought silk rosepetals in my color (plum). We used mirror rounds from the hotel where the reception was held. Here's my mock-up I did, using my mom's octagonal mirror in place of the hotel's mirrored rounds. Unfortunately, I don't have any good pics from the day of.

I had white/ivory/cream flowers with greens in my centerpieces. They aren't my 'dream' centerpieces but they came with our food package at the reception hall. To save on my budget I didn't upgrade the flowers. They did let the bride/groom specify which colors they wanted and I just said white. This is what they came up with:

Again, it's not my taste but it was 'free' and I can't complain because everything at the venue was WONDERFUL! To keep the cost down they did daisies, astromaria(sorry for the wrong spelling), some roses, and carnations. I'm just now realizing that I specifically told them, no daisies because I don't like them and they were all over! Oh well, can't win them all. Hope it helps.

They had spray roses, vendela roses, champagne roses, carnations and just a touch of baby's breath.

While I was afraid that they would be too small for the table, they actually looked perfect because there were some other things on the table - table numbers, escort cards, cameras and a camera scavenger hunt card - but they aren't in this picture. Of course I would have liked to have more roses, but that wasn't in the budget :)
