Help! I have a wedding to attend in two weeks (DD is a flower girl) and I don't have anything to wear. I'm nursing my DS (4mos) so I can't wear a dress. I've been looking for a cute skirt outfit but can't find anything that looks dressy enough. And I'm so not good at fashion as it is. (It doesn't help that my only opportunity to shop is with three kids in tow).
Any suggestions from those who've been in a similar situation?

What's your budget and level of formality? Are you looking for something with easy nursing access or completely concealed?

Hmmm. Years ago, I had a fancy long skirt that I used to wear with a dressy cardigan and a tank. Obviously, it's the wrong season for that.
I would look for a dressy wrap dress. It would be fairly easy access, and odds are you would be wearing a camisole under it as well. Maybe something like this: Brown wrap dress (http://www.anntaylorloft.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=19329&No=15&loc=LN&Ns=CATEGORY_SEQ_211&N=1200257&Nty=1&categoryId=211&defaultColorNameFromCategory=Deep%20Blue&defaultSizeTypeFromCategory=Misses)

How formal are you looking for? In that situation, I'd maybe get an actual nursing dress.
Something like this could look dressy with the right jewelry & shoes.

Here are a few others. Just google for more.

or for a sumemr/outdoors wedding, just add a sweater over it

If you need something really formal, then ebay has good deals on formal 2-piece outfits. They tend to be a bit "mature" looking. Sometimes lsited as MOB outfits. But if you look around you might find something decent.
I've also gone with a formal dress with a v-neck and just pulled my boob out over the top. Not discreet at all, but you could go somewhere private to nurse.

I just went to a wedding this past weekend, nursing my 3.5mo DD, and I wore this:
http://www.anntaylorloft.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=17121&No=30&loc=LN&Ns=CATEGORY_SEQ_211&N=1200257&Nty=1&categoryId=211&defaultColorNameFromCategory=Black&defaultSizeTypeFromCategory=Misses
It was easy to dress up with strappy heels and jewelry... It's also at least 4 inches longer on me than on this model.
I also use a nursing cover, so the issue for me is more about access and not so much about coverage.

Thanks for the quick feedback. Its not a formal wedding - outdoor ceremony with indoor reception - but my outfit does need to be dressy enough.
I like the wrap dress idea. The nursing dresses are really cute but I'm very large chested (and small-waisted) so I can't wear anything that has a seam under the bustline (because to get a dress big enough so the seam doesn't cross right through my bustline, the dress would have to be huge!) nor can I find nursing camis that are big enough (trust me, I've tried them all!).
My issue is definitely access with my outfit. I'm not afraid to nurse in public but I can't be having to lift a dress up to my chest!

I went to a wedding at 5 weeks PP. I wore a low-cut dress for easy access. Actually the dress was a little too low cut, so I wore a nursing tank underneath it. It worked out great! Now that I am 9 months PP, I never wear nursing clothes anymore - I just look for shirts that are a little bit low cut or stretchy. I've found that regular clothing works just as well, if not better, than nursing clothes.

A wrap dress. For sure.
You totally can wear a dress, so long as it's a nursing dress! Try motherwear.com - they have some cute stuff. Have fun! :)

I wore a nursing dress at 3.5 months PP...no seam under the bust. It wasn't the highest-quality garment ever (which seems to be the case with most nursing clothes), but it did the job. It was this one (http://www.expressiva.com/store/Flower-Print-Shrug-Dress-p-99936.html). Nursing was a breeze, which was great b/c DD nursed all.day.long. that day. Look around--there are a lot of different styles of nursing dresses.
Otherwise, I'd go for the wrap dress.
