I noticed they didn't look happy. The camera panned over to them a couple times during the show and he was leaning on her. She looked disgusted.

Good show last night. LOVED that Kate won, twice :D I was a little sad that Leo didn't win. I do want to see the Wrestler though...even though Mickey scares me. Drew scared me last night, she looked like such a mess! Her hair was nasty and I didn't care for her dress either...though it was a good color for her.

Didn't love Drew's pouffy Carol Brady hair but she did look good. She also looked pretty high or something. She looked like she was having a *really* good time.

So, heres what I said on the other thread started last night when it was on.......


Watching too....not sure what to say. Loved the Steven Spielberg tribute. Lots of very pretty dresses. My son thinks that Rumer Willis is one of the homliest girls he's ever seen.

At the beginning of the coverage on E, they showed this woman who I have no clue who she is, but she was wearing this bright pink puffy skirted, with a puffy train to match that she kept holding up, and it had big black buttons on it. She looked like a huge pink caterpillar!

I'm happy for Kate Winslet. She's been nominated so many times and never won, so tonite she wins twice, how great!

I never did get to see Angelina's dress. They didn't do any interviews pre-show, that I saw. What was up with Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange. They both looked stoned out of their minds and afraid to leave each other? It was just wierd!


Now that I've seen it, wasn't overthrilled with AJ's dress, it was pretty..yet boring. My favs I think were Eva L, Eva M, and Amy Adams. Cameron was a mess, yet again! Drews hair...ACK!, but I did like the dress. I think that Kiera Sedgwicks dress would have been prettier without the train. And even though it wasn't a great fit on Rumer, I did like her dress. I just think she has too much elongation to her upper body, and not enough boobs, which makes a strapless dress look way too low on her. I did like the dress though.

Ok, did anyone else see the pink ballooney caterpillar dress? I haven't seen it on any of the pic sites, and I know darn well I saw the woman on the red carpet. It was before all the "actual" arrivals, during the pre-show things. It was hilarious, I so wish I could find a pic!

Loved Drew Barrymore's dress, but based on the hair, it appeared she had taken a drunken tumble in the limo on the way to the show.

Kate Winslet looked fantastic, as did Eva Mendes, January Jones (loved the blue color) and Anne Hathaway.

Demi looked good. Cameron Diaz did also - but only from the neck down.

Renee Zellweger just looked weird and misshappen. DH asked if she was wearing a corset.

Heidi Klum scared me. Those awful shoes and that giant rose.....it's like she lost a bet or something.

America Ferrera is so lovely, but the dress length was not good for her. If that dress had been to the floor, it would have been stunning.

Blake Lively was wearing a nice dress that simply didn't fit. It was pulling in the wrong places and had she decided to stand straight instead of hump over, the top of the dress would probably have come to a point just above her navel. She was poorly advised.

J-Lo looked like she had some muffin-top going on in the back.

Angelina looked like she crawled out of bed, pulled on a dress and walked out the door, without proper time to bathe, brush teeth or groom hair. She looked gross.

Amazingly, I liked Tom Cruise and Eva Longoria. Both looked great last night.

Maggie Gyllenhall still looks like Ethel Mertz.

I kind of liked Jenna F's dress, though it would have been more appropriate at the Independent Spirit Awards or another less fancy outing--for her, though, it wasn't bad.

The pictures posted of Eva Longoria don't look bad, but when we were watching the arrivals, DH and I thought there was way too much push-up going on up top. It looked awkward and really uncomfortable.

It was funny because at the beginning of the Today show this morning they said it was the Year of Messy Hair at the GG.

I don't particularly like Anne Hathaway's look - I don't find it flatterning on her.

I have never been a fan of the mermaid style dress - not only does it look uncomfortable, it makes everyone look incredibly hippy whether they have lots of curves or not.

I think Rumer Willis could find outfits that accentuate her "unique" looks but when they try to put her in an ordinary party gown it just doesn't look right.

Maggie G. has an ugly dress for someone her age. I also am not a fan of hers. She may be talented but her attitude sucks. Her brother's attitude is much better. I have a feeling that Maggie probably takes after her mom. I've seen pics of the mom and that lady doesn't look like she can have fun.

Loved Anne Hathaway's dress. She (or her stylist) has been ON POINT in picking the most gorgeously saturated colors for her lately. They really work on her and make her features pop out at you. Evan Rachel Wood was probably my favorite dressed. Her makeup, up close, was so pretty too. I'm not a huge fan of hers since she seemed to really want to copy Dita Von Teese's style while dating MM. It just screamed fake...like she was changing who she was for someone else, which is a pet peeve of mine. But she's young and I'm sure we all have done a stupid thing or two for men before.

I'm so late to the party! I liked Maggie G., America, Isla Fisher, Laura Linney, Salma and Miley (although I agree the necklace looked weird).

Kate Winslet did look beautiful and perfect but I was a little bored with her dress.

I think it's because they're fairly large considering she's so slender. Sometimes I feel the same way about my own hands. I have very skinny arms.

And Brad has looked gross ever since he hooked up with her. Why does he always dress like his ladies to the point of no return? He looked best when he was more 'golden'. The only time he looks decent to me now is when he's with one of the kids.
