Hi there. DH and I are seriously working on our budget and paying down debt (eventually getting out of debt entirely). Could one of you lovely CCers recommend some really great software we could use? We're looking for software that will help us with budgeting, keeping track of where we spend our money and for tax purposes.
I'm not even sure there is such a thing, but if there is...I know I'll find it here .
TIA!

I use Microsoft Money to manage my money. I don't use it to the fullest extent that you could use it because it can keep track of your investments, loans, etc.
I use it primarily for balancing my accounts.

I use Quicken. It is awesome for budgeting! Quicken and MS Money are definitely the two main programs out there. Everyone has their personal preference for one over the other, but either one should steer you in the right direction.

Thanks, everyone! I plan on doing some research on both MS Money and Quicken.

I like Quicken. It came with my first Mac, and I was pleased with it from the start. :)

I do the same & I love MS Money! In addition to balancing my accounts, I keep track of what we are spending money on. I really SHOULD be using it to create a budget, but I haven't done that yet.
