Figured we need a central place to talk about football now that the season has *finally* started!
What did everyone think of opening weekend?
My Bucs were painful. WTF? Jeff Garcia doesn't throw last second, down in the endzone interceptions!
Almost as painful is watching the Colts get kicked up and down the field by the Colts.

HELLO Matt Forte.

:D

And, even though I'm not a Giants fan, Eli looked FABULOUS yesterday. Good for him!

I know there are a ton of Pats fans here, but I'm sick of hearing how Brady's injury is disappointing to the league in general. I hate Tom Brady.

Yeah, the Colts game was painful.

I'm so glad Favre and the Jets won, now I just hope Green Bay loses.

Pffft. Enjoy it while you can, they're the Saints, they'll fall apart before the season is over.
HELLO Matt Forte.
Yeah, he's pretty cute! I grew up a Bears fan, so while part of me was in pain, part of me enjoyed the Bears, too.

THANK YOU. I'm sorry for all the Pats fans, but come on, this is not a national tragedy! He is one player on one team-his absence will not kill football for anyone but Pats fans.
I want to see Green Bay, simply so they can say, PFFT, we didn't need you anyway.

Life without Brady is a darker place.... sigh. Oh well...it was fun while it lasted. And at least it's still baseball season :).

The dude doing the halftime show right now (during the broncos game, obviously ) totally looks like the guy who plays the cross dresser on Boston Legal...

I kind of felt for Aaron Rodgers through this whole mess. Coming from Brett Farve country - he's from here - there was surprisingly a lot of support for Rodgers. I could not imagine being in his shoes - opening your first game, at home, and following Farve's legacy. I'm glad they won.

I do think he has nice eyes :)

Ok, so I'm watching the ESPN pre-game coverage. They're talking about T.O. running his mouth yet again about Donovan McNabb. And Keyshawn Johnson says, essentially, shut up T.O., "receivers are a dime a dozen". REALLY?! You wrote a book, remember? It was titled "Give Me The Damn Ball". What a hypocrite! He got run out of Tampa-suspended mid-season, actually, due to his throwing hissy fits about wanting the damn ball! Maybe he's learned a thing or two since then.

Anybody watching this game? What a wild one.

By the time it's over the score is going to be astronomical (I'm only half watching)!

It already is! This is gonna be one of the those whoever has the ball last wins games. I'd love to see McNabb pull it out and put T.O. in his place at home.

I should not watch football in hotels. I found myself involuntarily yelling at the TV on several occasions. :o I'm sure those in the next room were thrilled.

Last night was way too close.

I don't know what Romo's problem is but ... oh wait, yes I do!

What? Jessica was there? Or wasn't there? We were blissfully spared her face on screen...

*I'd just like a moment of silence for my Raiders*

despite winning this weekend (sparing Kiffen another week), we still looked so bad on Monday night that it seems like it's going to be a long season.

Can I PLEASE get a good season out of my boys?!

She was there. Thankfully the game wasn't on Fox, so we weren't subjected to her mug the whole time. I think she was a bit more discreet this time as well.

He needs to stop bringing his lays to games. His first horrible game was when he brought Carrie. He bombed with Jessica. He just can't seem to do his JOB when he's brought a female to watch him.

Ok, so I really don't like the Cowboys. But they just did a post-game interview with the receiver who had more yards tonight than his whole 3 year career put together. And he was ADORABLE. Oh, I love a great bald head.

Is anyone watching the Saints-Vikes? NO is damn near gift wrapping this game for the Vikings.

Haven't ventured in this section before, don't know why. Anyway, did any of you enjoy any games today? There were a LOT of last minute wins. Very exciting. My pathetic Seahawks are out of it, and seem to have given up on the season. I guess I better pay attention to the college games to see who the top drafts will be this year ;)
