We are going to be starting Mothers Day Out in September, and DS will be 10.5 months old. Would you please share with me, those of you who have DC's around that age, or who remember from DC's who are older, what times they went down for a morning nap and then an afternoon nap? We are on a pretty consistent 9 and 1 nap schedule now at close to 7.5 months, but I was thinking that it may go to more of a 10 and 2 schedule the older they get. Is that true? Just wondering if you can share with me your naptimes with your older babies...

TIA!

At 9-10 months my daughter went to one nap a day. She went to bed around 9pm and was up at 9am. She then napped from either 2-4pm or 3-5pm. She is 20 months and still has that schedule.

I think it depends on the child. My DD always took her morning nap 2 hours after she woke up until just recently. So for us, that was 10 am (but if she was up at 7, it was much closer to 9). She just dropped her morning nap in the past week at 15 months.

With DS it was 10am and 2pm, I think. For DD I pushed her to one nap around that age. We are usually out and about in the morning so she usually napped in the car. Her afternoon nap was at 3. She now (14mo) naps from 2-4 on a good day. DS (almost 3yr) naps from 2-5. I know this is late for most people but my kids still go to bed around 8-8:30.

DD naps right after her 10am feeding and right after her 1 pm feeding. She may start going to one nap soon, as the morning nap is shortening up some lately. DS switched to 1 nap at a year.

My DD dropped her afternoon nap around that time, and was napping from about 9:30-11:30.

She's since pushed her naps to about noon-3:30 or 4 (but she's also 22 months)
