I need help please from any creative people out there.

My MIL got divorced from her husband 2 years ago. They are getting remarried in the fall and asked me to come up w/ a funny invitation. I can't think of anything. I am a writer, but everything I have thought of is too mushy and sentimental and I seriously lack in the area of humor.

They wanted something about recycling or trying again.

All I can think of is:
If at 1st you don't succeed, try again... but that seems so cliche.

Does anyone have any good ideas?

TIA!

Anything worth doing is worth doing twice..? lol

ETA - These aren't very romantic per se, but sounds like they have a great sense of humor about their trying again:

"The only time you don't fail is the last time you try anything -- and it works."
William Strong

"For us, there is only the trying. The rest is not our business."
T. S. Eliot

"I try. I am trying. I was trying. I will try. I shall in the meantime try. I sometimes have tried. I shall still by that time be trying."
Diane Glancy

"Try, try, try, and keep on trying is the rule that must be followed to become an expert in anything."
W. Clement Stone

"You can't always get what you want.
But if you try sometimes,
You just might find
You get what you need."
Mick Jagger and Keith Richards

sublime311 - thanks for those quotes!

W. Clement Stone quote might work - I could add something in there about marriage.
