I was wondering if anyone uses information from your personal heart rate monitor to calculate activity points? I am not actually on WW, but I am trying to figure a few things out, and I'd really like to use my HRM to help me select between light, moderate, or heavy...

I use the calories counted on my HRM 100 cals = 1 AP.

You can also use your heart rate to calculate - I don't know that there's a distinct chart or anything, but I usually go by the following.
50-65% max HR light
65-75ish% max HR moderate
75+ max hr high (and that's keeping at like 80% and sustaining that % for awhile)

Thank you, Hello Kitty, that is very helpful. So, for example, my max HR is 193. Today, I worked out and my average HR was 147 (highest was 174). So could I then say that 147/193 = ~76%, so therefore high activity? Is that logical?

That is logical thinking.

I do the generic formula of 100 calories burned = 1 AP
