Just wondering if anyone can tell me (if you can remember) how often your 9week old slept during the day?
DS is 9weeks old today and before his jabs a week ago was sleeping a alot during the day but having a good hr of play/feed time a few times a day. Then he would sleep through the early/late evening. Wake up sometime after 10pm and be awake wanting to play/feed till 2-3am. After then he would go to sleep for 4hrs wake for a feed then back to sleep for another 2 1/2hrs and feed..that would generally be his routine till about 10am-12pm then he would be up for a while.
After his jabs he slept the whole first afternoon/night with 4hrly feedings. The next few nights untill 2 nights ago he hardly slept at all...just wanting to be fed and held and to be upright.
The past two days apart from feeds he has just slept..nothing but sleep. I get a tiny bit of tummy time in (5mins max) then he will fall asleep or get a little grumpy. I guess Im just wondering if I am worrying about nothing or its normal for a 9week old to sleep this much. He is still feeding approx 3hrly.
Im not even sure if this post would make sense to others! Sorry about that.
ETA seems my answer was enjoy it while it lasts.. Tonight of course he is back to his old tricks of being awake. Will look into some sleep books to get some ideas for the future.
