Good Lord. My kids would have nightmares for weeks after some of those (as would I).

The slide out of the elephant's booty appeals to my sense of humor (twisted), although I certainly would not want to see my child popping out of there!:eek:

I wonder how many of those have cultural significance which would make them less odd to children who would be at these playgrounds. I recognize one from my study of Russia, as being a popular children's story about working together. (It takes the grandfather, grandmother, grandchildren, dog, cat, and mouse to pull a huge turnip.) I don't know...it's a thought. Odd painting jobs, though.
