Why can't I find the pet peeve thread? I found the one's about going to people's houses and when people come to your house, but not the regular one....

Anyways, I was looking for it because I wanted to post my latest pet peeve - when people comment on what I do or don't eat. The biggest offender is my boss. When I lost my baby weight he would say things like "geez, are you eating enough?" When I bring in leftovers from home or get lunch from the local Chinese place he'll say "what, you don't like sandwiches?"

With my family it seems like no matter what I put on my plate there is a comment:

"That's all you're gonna eat?"
"Wow, you're gonna eat all that??"

Irks me to no end.....

Michelle I looked for the thread too and had no luck. I'm thinking it was maybe under a different name other than pet peeves?

I hate it when people comment on my food too!

Now that I'm preggo, I have new pet peeves:
People touching my belly - wtf, I'm not grabbing them
People making a comment every time I yawn, eat, stretch, etc., yeah, it must be b/c I am preggo, I'm not allowed to eat or yawn otherwise.

Nah, it got eaten along with the great battits YAGE/musical production thread. I think a lot of old threads that were large (and FUN) were lost in the Great CC change (like CC got menopause or something) beginning this year.

My biggest pet peeve lately is a girl who's in my Speech and Language Development class....she raises her hand to ramble on forever about completely unrelated topics, and the professor never cuts her off! Then, she turns around in the middle of class and stares at various students for no apparent reason. I keep trying to think of a nice way to tell her to knock it off...but we are all a little baffled by her and afraid to engage!
